My intention is to develop my skills in Interior Design by gaining experience of the tools, techniques and methods used by professionals outside of the classroom. With a refined education I hope to become a strong team member and exceptional designer. Equipped with a CIDA certified Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, a strong empathetic personality trait and a personal motivation like no other, it is my purpose to bring the culture of the community into the local healthcare services and facilities so that patients; both long-term and temporary; frequent or occasional; may feel safe and confident in their care rather than anxious troubled. It is important to me to do everything in my power to improve the quality of life of the community.

SICKKIDS PEDIATRIC HEMATOLOGY CLINIC CLIENT PROFILE At SickKids, The focus of care is family-centerd, and the goal of the Heamatology and Oncology program is to provide timely, state-of-the-art care to children with cancer and serious blood disorders as near to home as possible. A network of satellite centers across Ontartio provides selected aspects of care for this large population of children nearer to thier homes. CONCEPT The concept of the space is fluidity. My intent is to create a space that flows with the process of visiting a clinic. I focused my concept into the organization of the space from the moment of entry, through the waiting process to the scheduling of future appointments. Physically, I designed the space to to mimic the feel of waterflowing and natural movement, using soft edges and a neutral toned colour palette.

Not listed as a Historical site: the building was pruchased by Humber College in 2009, and was previosly a car dealership There are several public and private schools in this area. The close proximity of Humber College makes this a safe area for children

The Prime Cut Steakhouse connects Melbourns rich dining culture with the dynamic landscape. Melbourne is the home of Australia's Food & Wine festival, it is also one of the main channels for shipping and cargo. It even has one of the world's best metro systems connecting the people to the city in new innovative ways while reducing the carbon footprint. Â

The way that Melbourne is so well connected to its roots inspires the design of Prime Cut Steakhouse's dining environment. Spatially, the terrain of Melbourne's landscape will is represented in the different levels of the restaurant. The lighting creates an ambience of comfort and family gathering much like that of a home dining room. The welcoming feel will encourage the close knit community reflective of Melbourne's young demographic

HUMBER DENTAL CLINIC The design goal of the Humber Dental Clinic is to create a circulation that has been carved from nature such that its organic flow is instinctual to source from and converge back to a central core. The same way that the roots of a tree reach into the soil and in reverse converge at the base of the plant, or in the way that a river naturally carves out a landscape to empty into the sea and in reverse stretches inland from the ocean to deliver water, the Humber Dental Clinic promotes a feeling of natural and instinctual processes that results in rejuvenation and refreshment.

RIPCURL RETAIL STORE Australia is famous for its geographical features including the Great Australian Bight, the Blue mountains and of course the Great Barrier Reef. These unique places are destinations for people all around the globe. The aim of the Rip Curl retail store at 635 Queen St. W is to capture the essence of Rip Curls founding country.
The space projects an exotic sensation by creatively employing organic forms into the structure of the interior space. The Australian geography is symbolized in the materials and finishes to reflect the rare and exotic luxuries that come with the experience of the Australian coast.

GEORGIAN BAY COTTAGE
Located in Parry sound of the Georgian Bay area the site is a protected nature reserve of the government of Canada. The goal is to build a modern, eco-friendly, lakeside cottage designed specifically for the Brighton Family and their needs. The modern and simple yet cozy style the client is looking for to be achieved by carefully selecting materials and finishes the compliment the site and the style of the family. 17
