Sustainable Clothing

Sustainable Fashion is on the rise, as more celebrities and bloggers are now making conscious efforts in styling their outfits. By re-designing and re-styling your clothes you can promote an eco-friendly lifestyle, without deterring the style quotient. When celebrities wear their outfits in public it gives a boost to the brands that make these outfits, as you can always spot Tapsee Pannu looking chic and quirky in these outfits. And this trend is not just limited to celebrities, but more and more fashion bloggers like Trishala Kamath, are coming forward to promote this trend, by showcasing different ways to style sustainable clothing. Here she looks ever so fashionable, wearing a handmade Bandhani Lehanga, perfect for the wedding season.

Suit Up!

Blazers are no longer resigned to just board meetings and client presentations. If styled right, they can add just the right amount of cool to your look. Suits and blazers are being styled in various ways, from airport looks to dinner dates and black-tie galas. Priyanka Chopra recently blew us away with her “just drape over the shoulder” white blazer and pink high-waisted trousers. Another Boss Lady to rock the blazer is our Shilpa Reddy, in classic colours of white and blue, tailored to fit and paired with black heels.

Belt it Out

Draping Saree has been an ever-evolving trend and to add to that, waist belts are making their way to give a dose of eccentricity. Waist belts over sarees are in rage, and they look the prefect combination of traditional with a touch of quirky. Recently Katrina Kaif paired a white leather belt over a gorgeous pink printed saree, and carried the look with elegance and grace, that she always exuberates. Blogger Divya Boppana carried this look with the same elegance, by pairing a black belt over a plain saree, adding the quirk with her cat eyes sunglasses.

Ruffles on sarees and dupattas are in trend, and this a must-have for your wardrobe, for it’s unique look as well as for itsversatility. Ruffles give an edge to any outfit, if styled correctly. Shilpa Shetty has sported this look plain and printed sarees, while Shiwangi Viajywargiya donned a ruffled dupatta on her outfit for her festive look. Shiwangi paired this look with a beautiful choker and a pretty jutti.

Tropical Trends

It’s only fair to feature these pretty tropical prints for our Summer’21. These pretty and chic prints synonymous with the cool summer breeze at a beach, or a trip to the green meadows. Simple is the way to go with these prints as you don’t want to overwhelm the outfit. Alia Bhatt has paired her peach mini dress with neon heels, while our blogger Esha Rao’s flowy dress with a simple bindi is just dreamy.

Chic PJs

Even though the lockdown is over, we don’t think that the comfortable yet stylish pjs are going anywhere, they’re here to stay. Over the quarantine period, pjs got a makeover, from being just sleepwear to stylish and quirky sleep outfits. Now, they range from cute cartoon prints to handloom prints. And even in different styles like kaftan to maxi dresses, there’s a plethora of choices. Here we can see Anushka Sharma and Gulnar Virk in adorable pjs, yet looking à la mode.

| FASHION Handwoven Vogue

Handloom and handwoven fabric will never go out of fashion. You just need to add a personal touch to this traditional art and create your own stylish outfit. Be it Ikhat, Chanderi, Bandhani, or just a simple cotton fabric, any of those could become a trendy dress or a classy saree.

Like here we can see how pretty Dia Mirza looks in a handwoven saree with polka dots. Metallic Fad

Accessorizing is an important part of styling and outfit, and choosing the right accessories is the rule. Oxidised Jewellery is the new fad, as it’s versatility gives more options to explore. Black metal jewellery basically works with most outfits, but suits the Indo-western look perfectly. Here Kriti Sanon has paired heavy neckpieces with a plain white outfit, that compliment each other well. And we have Vijaya Tupurani pairing a rustic choker and heavy earrings with a simple yet elegant saree.
