GENERAL MANAGER MESSAGE

We are looking at hot temperatures for the upcoming month, so it's crucial to stay hydrated, seek shade when needed, and apply sunscreen generously. Remember to keep an eye on young children and the elderly, as they are more susceptible to heat-related issues.

As we gear up for a busy fall season, we wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for your support. We greatly appreciate the trust you have placed in us as your go-to for golf, tennis, fitness, pool, and dining Be on the lookout for a fun filled calendar of events coming your way this Fall and Winter

We extend a warm welcome to our newest team member, Marketing Coordinator Emily Anzilotti. Emily will be starting in late July. We are delighted to have someone with Emily's impressive skills and experience join the River Club. Emily's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with a minor in Sociology from The University of Georgia Her accomplishments as a Hope Scholarship Recipient and a Meredith Evans Van Geison Scholarship Recipient highlight her commitment to excellence

Emily's extensive work experience, particularly her role as a Marketing Intern/Activation Specialist at Cox Media Group, has honed her ability to engage with the public and create captivating content across social media platforms Her expertise in managing Instagram and Facebook accounts, crafting engaging content, and assisting various departments within CMG Athens Radio will undoubtedly contribute to our country club's marketing efforts

Additionally, Emily's roles as a Social Media Account Manager, Social Media Intern, and Public Relations Intern demonstrate her exceptional skills in content creation, community management, and brand strategy Her experience with website management, press releases, and media contact lists as a Public Relations Intern for Fore Georgia Golf Media aligns perfectly with our club's needs

Dear RC Members,

What an exciting begin of the summer at RC that will be filled with amazing events & the best members in northeast Georgia! I’m enjoying meeting you all, your families, associates, and friends Thank you for your unwavering support of the Club and referrals It makes growing the Club so much fun with supporting Members like you all!

The Membership at RC is strong and growing. Because of this, the value of the River Club Membership has grown, and initiation fees are increasing While we have had many Members contribute to this effort, we would like to recognize those that have referred their friends so far this year:

The best part about the River Club is our Members, and we are always looking for great candidates to join our growing family As you invite your friends, please make note of the increasing initiation fee from $60,000 to $75,000 on July 1st. Members will still be able to gift a preferred joining certificate of $10,000 towards their invitees’ Golf Membership. Please send your referrals to Devin Trusty at dtrusty@riverclub-ga.com, as we’d love to extend a warm welcome into RC on your behalf!

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 envelope taco seasoning, divided

1 medium head iceberg lettuce, torn

1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained

1 large red onion, chopped

4 medium tomatoes, seeded and finely chopped

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese tap here

4 cups crushed tortilla chips (about 8 ounces)

1 bottle (8 ounces) Thousand Island salad dressing

2 tablespoons taco sauce

POTLUCK TACO SALAD 8 SERVINGS

Directions

In a large skillet, cook and crumble beef over medium heat until no longer pink, 6-8 minutes; drain Stir in 3 tablespoons taco seasoning.

In a large bowl, layer beef mixture, lettuce, beans, onion, tomatoes, cheese and crushed chips. In a small bowl, mix salad dressing, taco sauce and remaining taco seasoning; serve with salad.
