I wanted to share current club updates The new cart fleet should be delivered either the first or second week of September We want to thank all the members that completed the member survey Please know that we are reviewing all the feedback and will be sharing the results in the coming weeks with the entire membership I want to express my thanks to Head Golf Professional Justin Engel and our Golf Staff for making significant changes to the member experience First the addition of the new Flagd Golf GPS yardage displays for the driving range This system has allowed members to be able to have highly accurate digital ranges to targets from every station Online tee time system launched in August the feedback has been positive and we have adjusted the system based on comments that we have received We will continue to monitor the system closely and make any necessary changes Finally, I want to congratulate Justin Engel he got married on July 22nd and I want to wish him and his wife Kelsey all the best! MEMBERSHIP PAGE 3 MEMBERSHIP UPDATE It has been a pleasure getting to see all of Shadow Hawk's members enjoying the Club during the Summer months! I hope you all had a chance to invite a family or friend out here to show off Shadow Hawk's beautiful amenities. As your Membership Director, I would like to thank you all for the support of sending in your referrals. GO P COURSE MAINTENANCE
September is here already, and Fall is right around the corner. We have a couple events to look forward to this month. Leading the way is the Hawk Member/Member to be followed at the end of the month by Couples Nine, Wine & Dine. You can expect pristine conditions. Cooler temperatures and lower humidity will slow the grass growth down, and every day we get a better cut and smoother surfaces. We will continue our cultural practices but with less frequency. You will also see our sprayers out over the next few weeks putting down our pre emergent herbicides. The installation of the bulkhead on #10 is in full swing and they are making excellent progress

Second and third round matches will be played on Saturday, September 17th Second round matches will begin at 7:30am followed by third round matches beginning at 12:30pm The finals will be contested on Sunday morning beginning at 8:00am The format is a four ball competition and is dotted off the low index in the group The tournament is a single elimination event A player’s lunch will be provided on Friday and Saturday as well as breakfast each morning The cost is $150 per player and space for the event is limited to the first 16 teams Please note, that we will only be accepting a full two person team at the time of registration Registration will open on August 15th at 8:00am and will only be accepted via email to Allan McDermott at amcdermott@shadowhawkgolfclub com
Couples Nine, Wine and Dine: September 24th: The format of play will be a four person scramble (comprised of two couples) over nine holes The event will begin at 4:00pm with a shotgun start After play we will have a fabulous dinner with live music Beer and wine are included for this event and guests are welcome to participate Our annual Men’s Member Guest is currently full We have created a waitlist should any teams choose to not play If you would like to add your name to the waitlist, please email Justin Engel at jengel@shadowhawkgolfclub com Please note this is the only form of sign up that will be accepted for this event
