Spring is in the air and the Masters is right around the corner It has been great the past few weeks seeing all the members coming to the Club The Easter Egg hunt is this coming Saturday and there is still some room available. Easter Brunch on Sunday is full and we are looking forward to serving everyone. Please say hello to the new team members when you are here.
The golf and F&B department have or are hiring several new employees as we move towards the busy season. A special welcome to our new Clubhouse Manager Ryan Walker who will be joining the team in mid April. Ryan has an extensive background in the private club industry and is excited to get started at RC.
You will continue see repairs taking place at the pool over the next month. The main pumps for all pools are being replaced. We are waiting on them to arrive. Sweetwater our new pool management co. will be out this week to begin their work. In the meantime the pools have turned an off color. Rest assured that they will not look like this much longer. We are also redoing the slide and slide pool both to be completed prior to the pool opening
Also, a quick reminder that starting this month, if you choose to pay by credit card for your statement or any transactions at the Club, a 3% convenience fee applies. The Club does not collect this fee - it is paid directly to our third-party credit card processor
We continue to make changes and upgrades throughout the Club and appreciate all your support!

CLUBHOUSE UPDATE
Ryan WalkerMy name is Ryan Walker and I’m thrilled to be joining The River Club’s team! My parents still live in the house I grew up in over in Lilburn Georgia GO PARKVIEW PANTHERS so my roots here are thick.
I’ve been in club management for almost 23 years and I’m lucky to say it’s still my passion and I genuinely love being apart of the hospitality industry I have worked at a handful of clubs around the country which have helped groom me in the club leader that I am today I’m moving from a fantastic family club just north of Seattle to join the team at The River Club
I’m excited to get to know my coworkers more, as well as the members and community we will be serving I’m a diehard Braves fan (ask me which one of my kids is named after Chipper Jones), and can talk sports all day I love a good dad joke so please share all your best ones with me!
Speaking of dad, my beloved wife and I have 3 boys, 19, 5 and 3 and for anyone raising teenagers and toddlers enough said right? In all honesty if you really want to know my heart, my family is my world I’m going to always work hard for you so I can provide the best for them Our oldest, Noahkai is in Seattle Our middle son, Greyson is autistic with sensory processing disorder He’s been our greatest teacher of the importance of inclusion and diversity acceptance Our youngest Knox is a spitfire just like his mom with a heart of gold as he already is an amazing caretaker of Greyson I’m looking forward to learning about all the families at The River Club and helping make this a welcoming environment where you come to make memories with your loved ones
A special thank you to John for embracing me and bringing me aboard, I’m truly grateful for the opportunity It feels wonderful to come home and I’m ready to work alongside with everyone to make The River Club the best it can be!
TURF TALK
Dan HarrisSpring seems too finally be upon us! Temperatures continue to rise, and the golf course is beginning to green up significantly With the bermudagrass finally starting to come out of its winter dormancy the agronomy team will begin our normal mowing practices in the coming weeks We are also looking forward to April 11 th and 12 th as the golf course will be closed and we will be Dryjecting greens once again this year This was a very successful cultural practice for us that set us up well for the stressful summer months last year while also being minimally invasive to play once the course re opens on Thursday April 13th
As we look ahead to sunnier and dryer days ahead, I would like to remind all our members to please fix your ball marks as well as one more to help keep the playability of the greens the best they can be Lastly, I am sure many of you have seen him out and about with me on the golf course but our new Agronomy team mascot is my dog Chester Next time you see us on the golf course wave us down and introduce yourself as he loves to meet everyone!

KEY LIME PIE SERVINGS: 8
INGREDIENTS DIRECTIONS
3 cups sweetened condensed milk
¾ cup key lime juice
½ cup sour cream
1 tablespoon grated lime zest
1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Combine condensed milk, key lime juice, sour cream, and lime zest in a bowl; mix well. Pour into graham cracker crust; place pie on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 5 to 8 minutes, until tiny pinhole bubbles burst on the surface of the pie. The filling will be wobbly but not browned.
Transfer pie to a wire rack to cool, then thoroughly chill pie in the refrigerator before serving, about 1 hour. Garnish with lime slices and whipped cream, if desired.
