We made chemical applications to the fairways that should enable us to continue delivering the excellent turf conditions you ’ ve been enjoying this entire spring

We have been working hard on the bunkers and they look and should play much better.

We plan to introduce some new chemistry to our next tee spray applications that should help us get better water penetration as well as improve our water holding capacity so we can hopefully reduce our reliance on the small strings of sprinklers you ’ ve seen so much of this spring.

We have finalized the hiring of a couple more groundskeepers and have several more in the hiring pipeline As amazing as the agronomy team is, we are stretched thin and need help increasing our input and mowing frequencies as we head into peak season.

Have fun out there!

PRO SHOP - GHOST CREEK GOLF RULES & TIPS

Now that most of the bad weather is behi us, it is time to get out and enjoy the facilit The Ghost Creek golf course has healed u incredibly well after the spring aerification is ready to enjoy The par 3 tee boxes have now been opened up at both golf courses are ready for you to see just how pure the actually are! Reminder that we have adjus the start times here at Ghost as well, we w start the first tee times at 7:30 a m (Mon-

If you haven't done so yet, make sure you reach out to your golf professional staff an schedule a lesson if things aren't clicking with your golf game We are here to help in any way possible! Go see your Ghost Creek Head Golf Professional or email (sstewart@pumpkinridge.com)!

Below are some helpful tips for you to develop a good pre-shot routine.

Stand behind the ball and visualize the shot you want to hit.

PRO TIP: My pro tip of the month is stemming from what we have been teaching in our PGA Junior League Routine, if not one of the most important facets of the game is to have a preshot routine before every single golf swing, chip, and putt. This is one way to try and become as consistent as possible Find something that is obviously comfortable with you and stick with it before every shot When you see the tour pros competing in events and practicing what's the one thing you notice? For me, it's always the pre-shot routine. They are almost robots when it comes to this, doing the same thing before each and every shot

While still behind the ball, gauge the wind, evaluation change, what club to hit, and one last thought about your setup

Once you have all the "thinking" done, walk into the golf ball and get set up.

Relax the tension in your body whether that be with a club waggle, wiggling your toes and feet around a little, deep breath, etc

Take one last look at your target area before your swing.

Trust your process... THEN FIRE AWAY!!!

Main thing to take away from this is to release tension and become more comfortable over the golf ball before each and every full swing, chip, and putt.
