GENERAL MANAGER MESSAGE
Jeff Muller
Dear Members,
We've got some awesome updates to share with you. Firstly, we're rolling out a fresh and fantastic new menu at Founder's Club starting 08/17, created by our new chef Heather Colvin. We welcome her to Pumpkin Ridge from Congressional Country Club! But that's not all – we're also revving things up with a new fleet of golf carts, A huge thank you to our Golf Operations team who worked diligently to have them ready for Men's Member Guest. We are looking forward to hosting more member events as the golf season starts to slow down next month - we've got our last 9, wine and dine event, the club championship, couples twilight and the Tequila Open
Your support is the driving force behind the magic of our club, thank you,

We are poking the fairways again with small needle tines to open them up so we can move water passed the surface and down to the roots After a mow, they look as if we didn’t do a thing. Over the next week or so you should see those dry sunken areas turn green and become much more playable. The irrigation system is showing its age during this incredible stretch of dry weather
We have begun cutting the native grass down. We must perform this task while the grass is dry, and it takes quite a while to get it all cut down so getting a jump on it is critical. The team actually started on this exact same day last season so this shouldn’t surprise anyone. Another benefit to starting this project now is that it should leave us enough time to identify the irrigation located in the native areas that services the adjacent tees, fairways, and greens.
We can then alter the native border before next season, ensuring that the irrigation is in the maintained heights of cut which will help with the uniformity of the nightly watering. The end result will be less hand watering in the affected areas and ultimately better-playing surfaces.
We are ready for the Divot Party on 8/31. Bagged green sand is staged at the Witch Clubhouse and John should have plenty of bottles for everyone that attends. We truly appreciate your dedication and willingness to lend a hand. We have been HEAVILY played this summer and it certainly won’t be difficult to find some divots to fill
Another reminder to please navigate your carts with care by keeping them away from tees and greens and by following the signage and roped-off areas. If we can keep the carts on the paths as much as possible the course will show it, and everyone will be able to enjoy a more beautiful and playable golf course

Dear Members,
Time to sign up for Fall Operation 36 classes
This program has been successful in giving players the opportunity to ‘learn to play’ the game of golf in a group setting versus just learning how to swing a golf club.
Golf skills are learned from the inside-out (putting, chipping, pitching, full-swing etc…) Classes are offered for Ladies, Adult and Juniors and are open to members and their guests.
See flyer for full details and schedules. Use QR code on flyer or link to be directed to the OP36 registration page
Hope you are all enjoying the summer season and getting out to play! Thanks for your support!

PRO SHOP - GHOST CREEK GOLF RULES & TIPS
Sebastain Stewart
The Ghost Creek Golf Course has never been better! Conditions are flawless, the weather is beautiful, and it is an absolute must play right now! We have reinstated the Marshal/Starter program on the weekends here at Ghost to try and help the pace of play and get all the tee times out in a timely and organized manner. Also, the Ghost Creek practice range is now o grass Friday-Sunday!
Ever wondered why you hit it really well on th range, but it doesn't translate to the course? Sounds like all you need is an on course playing lesson to get a second perspective on what you need to do to stripe golf shots just like you do on the range! Email Sebastain your Ghost Creek Head Golf Professional!
