Chip is married to Amber. She is an author, realtor, and an equestrian who competes in upper-level events. They have three daughters: Lauren, a graduate of the University of Georgia who attended North Georgia College and is now an RN in the Athens, Georgia area; Bella, who attends Kennesaw State University, is an accomplished violist, and is studying music theory and education; and Lily, who graduated Dacula High School and is following in her mother’s equestrian footsteps. She is a recognized top-level eventer, competing in state competitions. She is currently an intern with a top Olympic equestrian trainer. When Chip’s not at the golf course, you can find him quail or duck hunting, or riding his Harley Davidson.
