Silt and run-off pollution control

Hy-Tex offers a range of products for silt management and run-off pollution control.

• Drain guards

Ultra Drain Guards are designed to remove oil and sediment pollution from surface water running into gully drains from construction sites, farms and industrial estates.

• In-stream sediment entrapment matting

Sedimat™ biodegradable disturbed sediment entrapment matting is used in waterways during in-stream construction such as pipe laying or dredging projects. It traps disturbed sediment to prevent pollution of aquatic habitats downstream.

• Silt fences

Terrastop™ Premium is a special, high-quality, permeable filter fabric that can be installed as an entrenched vertical entrapment fence. Applications include building areas, haul roads, spoil heaps and quarries where silt-laden stormwater run-off and site debris can contaminate land, watercourses, lakes and drains.

• Dewatering bags

Ultra Dewatering Bags provide an effective way to collect harmful sediments from dirty water pumped out of excavation works that would otherwise pollute the surrounding environment. Ultra Drain Guard for road gully silt protection
