As consumers we have to be aware of the direct and indirect impact that we are having on our environment. Buying sustainably produced clothing is a simple but effective way to contribute positively and make a change.

Buying sustainable clothes is a small and easy gesture one can make to help save and preserve the environment.

Pach maintains a beautiful aesthetic and on top of this is an innovative brand that does good.

I love that our brand offers this chance to conscious, fashion forward women through our sophisticated designs.

Buying sustainable clothing is something that I think is very important. Looking after the environment is something that I feel very strong about and is something that not a lot of fashion brands think about, this is one of the reasons I love working for Pach!

I think it’s important to buy sustainable clothing because we need to look out for our future generations, to keep our environment as beautiful as it is now.

Pach also work around creating a capsule wardrobe which is a great idea on how to save money and still have fabulous outfits.

I love working for Pach because we have a different way of helping out environment by using waste not usually thought of and continue to create beautiful garments.

We need to start thinking future, the fashion industry has a massive impact on the environment and Pach gives us a way to find new solutions.

I feel it’s important to buy sustainable clothing to take into consideration another generation who has to live with the consequences of our actions.

Pach clothing allows us to contribute to the environment and still wear high fashion, designer clothing.

At Pach, I love the team that a work with and the drive that each of us have to create a successful brand.

Designer / Social Media I think that the fashion industry is one of the most unsustainable industry’s in the world, and we need to change this now! Buying unethical and unsustainable clothing is ruining our environment for this generation and future generations to come! I enjoy working for Pach because I love what the brand stands for and the way we use materials which would normally be sent to a landfill to make our beautiful garments.

Our Manifesto Here at Pach we believe in designing beautiful sophisticated garments for a generation of strong independent like-minded women, with all of our products being produced sustainably with the use of cabbage, the off cut of the fabric that would otherwise go to waste.

Brand Concept We use offcuts of fabric allowing for great quality garments to be made at a reasonable price, as well as it being sustainable. Our consumers are busy hard working women who don’t have the time to spend hours online filtering through pages of clothing, we allow our consumer to shop on our online website or on our mobile app and look through our specially designed and selected season less collections, with the knowledge that they are buying clothing that is not having a negative impact on the environment. When entering the market, we needed to be aware of our competition and aware of what’s already available on the market. With much research we have created a unique shopping experience where our customers are able to view our annual collections made up of a special selected few items to fill your wardrobe, making it quick and easy for our consumers to buy quality beautifully designed garments to fit in with their busy schedules, along with the assurance that everything being bought is being produced in Britain, sustainably and ethically.

We will create our clothing in a small factory in London. We will also stock our cabbage clothing from factories around the UK. We will have a small team within our London based office of 6 employees and 2 interns to help us with the designing of new collections as well as keeping up with our social media pages. In the first year we aim to produce two collections in the first year, only replenishing our stock when its close to being sold out.

By our third year we would like to have started producing some of clothing within our own small factory. This would mean expanding our London offices to allow for acceptable machinery to be used, this may mean moving our offices to a larger area. Begin to consider an ethical way to ship our clothing worldwide from our online store. In our third year we aim to be producing 4 collections a year allowing to make have a higher income.

By our 5th year we would like to start looking at our branding and social media and what we can be doing to keep it up to date and fresh with the current trends. We would also like to have all our clothing by then to be being produced by our own employees in our own studios based in London. With our sales increasing year on year we would also like to be producing more collections, as the collections we produce are season less and are only produced when stock runs out, producing a wider selection of clothing will allow for our stock to appeal to a wider clientele.

Strengths Individualised clothing aimed at a diversity of women of different sizes race and age Positive impact on the environment by reusing materials, sustainability. Transparent company Everything based in the UK Strong brand concept. Not many competitors in terms of our concept. Intuitive website, easy to use and simple design. Well-made clothing, durable.

Weaknesses Quality of garments being produced due to use of offcuts – checks will need to take place. Exposure of our company. Getting our prices right for our consumers. The fact that we’re produce a capsule – people have less of a choice Strong Competitors.

Opportunities Using an environmentally friendly courier. Taking on students as employees who understand our concept as a brand. To ensure that we adversities when our collections and new stock are being replenished.

Threats As we’re not producing ourselves the production of clothing is more expensive. We only have baseline advertisement, making it harder to discover our brand. No physical stores.

As a brand we are looking to produce luxurious, sophisticated, smart, crisp day-wear with an edge. We also strongly believe that clothes should not be created on the expense of the environment. As stated in our manifesto our aim is to combine those two ideas and provide the market with environmentally friendly and responsibly resourced high-end ready-to-wear. We plan to achieve this by using exclusively “cabbage” fabric. “Cabbage” fabric is a term used in the fashion industry to describe the pieces of fabric that are left over after cutting out patterns, as well as the fabrics that have flaws or imperfections. We source the finest quality, sustainably sourced fabrics from companies within the UK. Additionally, we do everything from design to production to storage in our offices, outsourced manufacturing factory and warehouse space, all located in London. This way we help to reduce the wastage of fabrics, unrecycled clothes and the fashion industry’s carbon footprint, hoping to ensure a healthy environment for future generations.

We wanted our packaging to be as simple as our brand concept. For all clothing to be delivered in a white box with our logo printed onto the front, this box can be reused again as a place to store your Pach clothing, but if not the box is 100% recyclable. All products purchased will also come with a thank you note, encouraging our customers to come back to us again.

We wanted our social media to be used to its full potential. So we began to research the social media most popular amongst our target market, in which we found that Twitter and Facebook were the two main sites that customers would follow a brand or retailer as well as recommending that brand or retailer to a friend. Along with our Twitter and Facebook page now live, we also have an Instagram account. As 29% of women have Instagram with 28% of those consumers being in an urban environment.

Our customer is 25-45, she is an empowered woman who probably lives in a trend capital, she rents a studio apartment, and is a fashion savvy lady who is interested in keeping up with current trends. Our consumer enjoys reading up on the economy and politics and staying aware of social matters. She has a busy lifestyle, spending the majority of her days at work in the creative industry in a job she enjoys, allowing her few moments to herself, but when she does get some free time, her hobbies include gallery visits, creative events, socialising, yoga and running. Her strong personality attracts other like-minded trendy individuals. Our customer is conscious of herself and her surrounding and concerned about the environment. When she shops she likes to buy quality luxury labels knowing that they last a long time making her impact a little less on the environment.

To create the colour scheme for our brand I started off by looking at luxury colour schemes that are used in interior design, colours that reflect the desirable, upper class aesthetic of our customer. We want our clothes to make woman look and feel powerful, therefore I think a simplistic monochrome based colour scheme is best to show a sharp professional look, then traces of colours to show the quirky creative side of our brands. To find these colours I looked into our customer profile and picked a luxury holiday location with beautiful, natural, feminine colours, I picked out the colours I thought would represent our brand in the best way and played around with them until the colour scheme went perfectly together.

We as designers wanted to create a unique collection suitable for our sophisticated consumer. We began by taking our inspiration from street style as well as looking at our competitors and incorporating this into our own Pach style. Our new clothing collection includes sharp lines with modern tailoring and layering, creating a smart casual collection suitable for the Pach Woman.

For our business to run successfully we need ÂŁ202,000 this will cover all of the costs that are required for our company to function for a year. Pach hopes to raise a sufficient amount of money off a crowd-funding page that we will set up, this will help us raise the initial funding. After this amount has been raised we need to consider how much investment we will need, once we know we will take out a loan for the amount so our company can officially start up!
