MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK MADRID WEARS GIOSEPPO!
The footwear and accessories brand, GIOSEPPO, has been present in the last edition of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid catwalk. The event, where the SS2014 collection was introduced, took place in September. Within this new collection, some special collaborations such as Ailanto, Ion Fiz and Juanjo Oliva can be found. Even the hostess wore Gioseppo SS14 styles. With no doubt, a great opportunity for designers, top-models and fashion people to discover the most recent creations of the firm. All those that visited Gioseppo stand were given a gadget, as a gift. Moreover, some of the FW 2013 rubber boots styles were on sale, which shows the good positioning of the brand with regards to the Spanish Fashion Sector. This is not the first time Gioseppo counts with Spanish Designers, as it did in the last Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid editions with the presence of Ion Fiz and Ailanto. Gioseppo knows the importance of promoting Spanish fashion and that its recognitions is tied to brands, that just like Gioseppo, can count with shops in different continents. Once again the capital has become the perfect showroom for this sector and gave our designers the opportunity to show us their view and proposals.
SS 2014 TRENDS Gioseppo presents the new trends for next Spring-Summer with a collection full of interesting proposals. Because Gioseppo is intense like the coast, adventurer like a desert explorer, and audacious like a tropical inspiration. The next SS14 collection will not pass by without waking up everybody’s attention. Costa Blue: the braking of the waves in ports full of seagulls. A little boat sailing to the horizon, while a light breeze waves the flags along the promenade. Drawings of red, blue, and white stripes fill up the summer’s afternoons. Anchors, knots and more sailing details, give shape to the trend with the presence of jute and natural wooden wedges.
Wild Adventure: the sand of the desert, the colors of the savannah during a long safari… echoes of adventures and expeditions. Natural materials, whites and neutral colors, inspired by a world of explorers on a quest for antique civilizations and hidden treasures.
Tropical: fluorescent colors, pompons and vegetable prints. A journey to the heart of the jungle searching for a daring trend full of colors, inspired by the flowers and fruits of a special Eden garden where nothing is forbidden: from jelly sandals with tacks to clothes that combine flower prints with leather details.
And for the little ones… Indi Jones, Costa Blue and Tropical trends.
GIOSEPPO ON TOUR SUCCESS After an intense tour around Europe, Gioseppo is satisfied for the positive results from its participations in the most important fairs of the sector. The brand has presented its SS2014 collection that has been well accepted among the visitors of the fairs and has made new important contacts. Before summer holidays, Gioseppo participated in FIMI (Valencia, Spain) and WHO’S NEXT (Paris, France), two very different fairs where both ended up being very positive for the brand with good sales results and receiving a large number of visitors. With the arrival of September, Gioseppo restarted its presence in fairs. During the first week of the month, Gioseppo travelled to Moscow to present its kids’ footwear collection in the CPM fair. Its first time presence in this fair, shows the willing of the brand to grow in such an emergent market like Russia. After CPM in Moscow, Gioseppo flew to MODACALZADO and MICAM, two of the most important fairs of the sector. At the end of the month, ITALMODA, celebrated in Paris, has been the last appointment of an intense agenda where the brand could confirm the good results obtained throughout the year. It’s a satisfactory balance for Gioseppo, that is witnessing how its brand is consolidating and becoming a reference in the footwear and accessories industry with a constant growth based on innovation, sustainability and the ability to adapt itself to the changes of our society. Gioseppo feels good vibes thinking about next year’s first quarter fairs calendar.
SPONSOR OF COSMO 2013 PARTY Gioseppo is confirming itself more and more in the fashion and trendy world, and it is demonstrated by its presence in the Cosmopolitan Woman Award party, where the brand will be the main sponsor. The Ritz Hotel of Madrid will host the event, and in its sixth edition it will count on the presence of VIPs from the film and culture world as well as fashion celebrities. Gioseppo will play an important role at the party as it will participate in the photocall with the organizers and will have its own space where the brand will be giving out many gifts. In this edition, Cosmopolitan has chosen the Mediterranean Sea of the 60’s and 70’s to be the theme of the party, for it being the most influent époque of today’s trends. Getting inspired by this theme, Gioseppo has created a private area where the guests can take pictures and drink authentic beer from Ibiza.
