ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO’S NEST Mask Theatre is bringing the acclaimed One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest to the Key Theatre main stage. Adapted for the stage by Dale Wasserman, it’s based on the novel of the same name by Ken Kesey, and popularised in film by Milos Forman in 1975, when Jack Nicholson played the lead role, Randal P. McMurphy. McMurphy is a charming rogue who contrives to serve a short sentence in an airy mental institution, rather than hard labour in prison. Quickly, he takes over the roost, but in his engaging and compassionate way, bizarrely accomplishes what the medical profession’s been unable to do for twelve years; he reaches out to the patients as people. It’s directed by Emma Goldberg, who comes straight from directing Mask’s knock-out Edinburgh Fringe show Jeremy Kyle Does Shakespeare. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is running from November 4–7 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £12.50 available from www.vivacitypeterborough.com or 01733 207239.

TIME TO GIVE THE PGER RUNNERS A CHEER! It’s here at last and time to show your support to everyone taking part in this year’s Perkins Great Eastern Run. Thousands of runners are about to pound the streets of Peterborough – some will be dressed as superheroes and others will be aiming for a personal best (PB), but whatever their reasons for running they need you!

Darren says – “There can never be too many supporters so come out and line the streets to cheer on everyone who’s trained relentlessly (or not nearly enough) and set out to challenge themselves to smash personal goals and raise money for their chosen charities to make a positive difference to themselves and others.”

The Perkins Great Eastern Run takes place on Sunday October 11 and is renowned for great public support to help runners master the half marathon and make it through the fun run when they’re dressed as a chicken!

The fun run starts at 10am followed by the half marathon at 10.30am on the Embankment. The city council, in association with RingGo cashless parking, has introduced a special offer for runners to park all day in council car parks for just £2 when you use RingGo (50% saving on the machine price).

Look out for ESP’s own running man Darren Grigas who’ll be looking for a PB in the half marathon while his kids tackle the Anna’s Hope Fun Run. There’s still time to enter until October 5 so why not give it a go?

By registering with RingGo today you will save time (avoiding queues at the ticket machines) and money on race day so make sure you sign up in advance! All you need to know is on the website www.perkinsgreateasternrun.co.uk

GET ACTIVE – GET HEALTHY! TIME TO CUT CHOLESTEROL. Whilst many of you may be embarking on Stoptober this month to quit smoking, there’s another health campaign that’s just as important. You can help improve your cholesterol levels by: • • • • •

Eating a healthy balanced diet Adopting foods that actively lower cholesterol Being more physically active Stopping smoking And if you are overweight, by losing weight

Cutting down on saturated fat and replacing it with everyday foods that contain more unsaturated fat can help to improve your cholesterol levels dramatically.

Vivacity Sports and Healthy Living urges you to think about another common health issue; high cholesterol. This October is National Cholesterol Month and Vivacity are encouraging everyone to make a few small lifestyle changes to improve their health and quality of life.

By reducing your intake of butter, cakes, pastries, fatty meats and full fat milk, cream and cheeses you can prevent your cholesterol levels from becoming too high. Foods that naturally help lower cholesterol include: oat cereals, fruit, vegetables, soya foods and drinks, beans and pulses, nuts and seeds. Making a few small food swaps and taking part

in regular exercise (there’s a certain fun run this month you could join in with to get started!) is enough to help you lower the level of cholesterol in your blood and prevent the risk of a heart attack or stroke. Whilst the risk of developing high cholesterol is more common as you age, this isn’t to say that younger people should ignore the benefits that come with healthy eating and regular exercise. Vivacity offer a number of GP referral services for those with a range of health conditions. If you’re suffering with a high cholesterol level or a specific cardiac or respiratory condition the class will provide the required support and advice needed. Exercise for Cardiac and Respiratory conditions class – every Wednesday at 12.30pm – 1.30pm at Hampton Leisure Centre £2.50 per class. From starting out as a landlord in 2001, this local go-ahead entrepreneur took the next natural step into property development and established Fenprop in 2003 at first just working on his own developments. From there Greg decided to share his talents and offer his services to everyone. He later established Fenglass and now runs both companies armed with plenty of first hand knowledge. Greg has a wealth of personal experience on his own property projects having renovated and sold over 40 properties. CLEANING A POSH SET OF BOOTS

NEW SCOOTER UP FOR GRABS

Peterborough United players Jermaine Anderson, Kyle Vassell and Kgosi Ntlhe cleaned a different set of boots when they washed supporters’ cars for charity at Motorpoint in Fengate. The lads went straight from training to support the UK’s leading car supermarket’s donation to Age UK and MIND for each car the lads washed.

Motorcycle training school CAMRider is giving you the chance to win a brand new taxed and ready to ride Lexmoto Scout scooter worth over £750.

It’ll be good to see more Posh players engaging with the local community this season. Supporters - especially young ones - look up to the players and even if they can’t always win on the pitch, the least they can do is spend more time off it with the fans who pay their wages. Photos: www.theposh.com

Hopefully we’ll see more of our players making public appearances and showing appreciation for the supporters who spend their hardearned cash on getting behind them week in, week out.

To go into the draw all you need to do is visit their website and answer simple multiple choice question: What does CBT stand for? Entry is free and you get automatic entry to win the scooter if you take a course with the Lincoln Road-based training centre. Entrants need to be 16 years or over and should hold a CBT or full licence in order to accept the prize if won. Closing date is November 30.

AND THE WINNER IS... ESP model, runner, fundraiser, coach, family man and trendy beardgrower... the list of talents our Darren Grigas has is endless and that's why his achievements haven't gone unnoticed by the Pride in Peterborough awards. He was nominated as a finalist in the 'special recognition' category and I’m pleased to say he nailed it! Daren more than deserves to win this accolade and I'm pleased he wasn't overlooked. Darren loves a challenge and recently completed the first Spartan Race to be held locally (Elton Hall) and he's lacing up for a personal best time in our city's excellent Perkins Great Eastern Run this month. Both events are of course a walk in the park for our poster boy whose

biggest achievement this year has to be his 156-mile run across the Sahara when he raised more than £18,000 for local charity Anna's Hope. Darren finished an impressive 151 out of more than 1,300 competitors from 50 different countries racing in what was dubbed as 'The Toughest Foot Race on Earth'. He did it on rationed food and water whilst carrying only essential survival items on his back. Then there's Darren's perfectly formed beard. That alone is worthy of an award. If he one day decides to throw in the towel on his running at least he can audition for one of the three wise men in the stage adaptation of Jesus of Nazareth. Acting? Now there's a challenge Darren...

'F' WORD IS THE PLACE TO EATALY I'm having a food porn moment and salivating over my keyboard...Pasta restaurant chain Francesca® is coming to our city and I'm going to eat it out of house and home! Its flagship restaurant at Baker Street in London opened in 2012 and Francesca is on its way to the food court in our A1M junction 17 service station. It'll be serving up to 18 freshly prepared sauces and three varieties of durum wheat pasta – as well as an assortment of salads, antipasti, lasagne, cannelloni, panini, desserts, proper Italian coffees and wine.

I know the food will be top notch because Francesca restaurants only use tomatoes from the Naples region of Italy and extra virgin olive oil from the Puglia region. Better still, all pasta dishes are served with authentic parmesan cheese imported from Parma. I'll take an educated guess that if this place is a hit then we may see a branch open up in the city centre and that'll be a result. Some of the food at service station restaurants are pasta the joke and I can't wait to get a pizza the action at Francesca's (sorry, had to be done).

READY FOR A G ESP’s Mikey Clarke chats to Stuart Orme about ghostly goings on… Chances are you’ve heard the name Stuart Orme before. The local historian has worked at the Peterborough Museum for years and has guided hundreds of the popular city centre ghost walks. Stuart was recently appointed as Head of Operations at Peterborough Cathedral, meaning his ghost walks this Halloween could be his last. Having been on a few of the walks myself, I know he’s the man to go to for spooky stories. I caught up with him recently to find out his favourite tales. So, in no particular order…

“The most haunted building in the city is the Peterborough Museum, situated in a magnificent building on Priestgate,” Stuart told me. “Parts of the building are from the 1500s. For much of its life the building was used as a city hospital until the 1930s when it was donated to the Peterborough Natural History, Scientific and Archaeological Society. “When the building was used as a hospital in 1916 an Australian soldier – Thomas Hunter – was wounded whilst fighting in France during World War I and died from his wounds whilst being treated at the Infirmary. Today, the infamous ghostly grey figure nicknamed ‘the lonely ANZAC' is often seen by terrified witnesses on the stairs and the first floor of the museum. The ghost of Sergeant Hunter was most recently seen in August this year by two ladies on a guided tour!”

Ghostly monks in the Cathedral Precincts “The stunning building which is Peterborough Cathedral is at the physical heart of the city, and for many is its spiritual heart. It’s also the historic core and has endured a lot of upheaval throughout its sometimes turbulent history – so, you probably won’t be too surprised to discover that it has a reputation for being haunted… “Many terrified visitors to the Cathedral have reported witnessing ghostly apparitions of monks, unsurprising given the site was a monastery for over 900 years. On a summer’s evening in 1996 an American tourist was taking some twilight photos of the cloisters when she saw a hooded monk appear in one of the doorways. The figure crossed the cloister and disappeared through a door into the Cathedral. The lady finished taking her photographs and decided to follow the monk to see if he was

16

www.espmag.co.uk

taking part in a service open to the public. To her amazement she discovered that he’d actually exited a doorway which was bricked up and had walked through an apparently locked door! Since then other witnesses have also reported seeing a monk in the cloister, or along 'Windy Alley', the passage leading from there to the Cathedral's west front.”

The ghosts of Queensgate “The Queensgate Shopping Centre was first opened in 1982, and today dominates much of the city centre. The shopping mall was constructed on the site of some of the oldest streets in Peterborough which probably accounts for some of the strange events which take place after the centre closes. Eerie voices, phantom footsteps and ghostly figures have all been reported by spooked security guards, with the ghostly apparition of a sobbing little girl dressed in rags seen squatting on the floor of the lower mall in the early hours of the morning. “An apparition of a Grey Lady has been witnessed walking through the back rooms and staff canteen of John Lewis, whilst the ghost of a tall old man walking his Scottish terrier dog has been seen in another shop. Staff at several shops claim to have heard a little boy laughing, almost if he likes to play hide-and-seek with them.” I know from being on many ghost walks in the past that Stuart Orme has many more stories to tell. And nothing sends a chill up your spine more than hearing a ghost story whilst being stood in the actual locations of the sightings. Therefore, if you get a chance to join Stuart this Halloween, I highly recommend you do so. Speaking to the historian on leaving the Museum, he told me, “I’m so proud to have been a part of the building. I’ve really enjoyed working with the lovely and hardworking team of people – staff and volunteers – over the last 14 years. It was an honour to be involved in the Museum redevelopment in 2011, reopening in 2012 after a £3million refurb; the Heritage Festival (which has

kind of been my baby), and which I'll continue to be involved with in the new role. There’s also fond memories of helping bring Flag Fen and Longthorpe Tower into the fold, helping to safeguard, interpret and make accessible these amazing and internationally important historic sites; the guided walks, particularly the ghost walk, which I will miss; most recently the new cellar redevelopment at the Museum, our new attraction 'The Priestgate Vaults' opening in October, which will be my swansong to some extent I suppose!” Although Stuart will clearly miss working at the Museum, there are exciting times ahead. “I’m looking forward to working with the Cathedral team – who I know quite well already from working on joint projects such as the Heritage Festival – and are a lovely bunch of people,” he said. “I can’t wait to be working at such an amazing building as the Cathedral, which really is a hidden gem nationally; with new challenges and opportunities, particularly on the Peterborough 900 commemorations and celebrations in 2018 when the current Cathedral building will be 900 years old. This will be a real opportunity to put the Cathedral and the city in general on the map and raise the profile of our amazing heritage!” ESP Magazine has supported Stuart Orme during his many years at the museum and will continue to support him during his time at the Cathedral. We wish you all the best. There’s a new out of this world event heading to the city and Mikey Clarke can’t wait… Once upon a time being a geek was looked upon as something embarrassing. These days people such as Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates are worshipped. Programmes like The Big Bang Theory dominate our television screens and

With characters walking around (including Daleks and Cyberman) entertaining the crowds, there'll no doubt be plenty of photo opportunities. Autumn’s a great time of year to embrace some delicious flavours and with the weather changing, eating comfort food such as hearty stews and wholesome soups should be top of your food adventure agenda. So for my October column, I thought I’d bring you some autumnal inspiration with fresh delivered vegetable boxes, autumn country fairs and some continental flavours too.

COUNTRY FAIR AT PETERBOROUGH ARENA! I couldn’t write my October column without giving the Autumn Food and Country Fair at Peterborough Arena a mention. The event’s on Sunday October 11 and looks to be a food haven for us foodie fans. Not only will you get the chance to see Paul Hollywood, star of The Great British Bake Off giving top tips to improve your bakes, demonstrations, and signing his book, there will also be an abundance of tasty treats to sample and buy. From British pies to Indian cuisine, and lots in between, this

year’s Autumn Food and Country Fair is well worth a visit. Exhibitors in the food hall include popular and local producers, Grasmere Farm, The Crusty Pie Makers, Lime Tree Pantry Food plus many more. Head to the website www.autumnfoodandcountryfair.co.uk for more info, a full list of exhibitors and to get your ticket. See you there!

PARSNIP AND PEARS FRESH FOOD DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR Now if you don’t know by now, I have a thing about supporting local producers and this is for many reasons such as reducing our carbon footprint by reducing air miles, supporting the local economy as more of the pound stays in the local area and best of all, the produce often tastes better and is usually better for you. So it’s a great delight for me to introduce to you Parsnip and Pears who are traditional farmers, growing, harvesting, baking, making and supplying traditional fresh food and produce to homes with their vegetable and fruit boxes along with locally farmed meat, all with minimal packaging and solid traceability. To add another fine string to their bow, they are now working with The Green Backyard (GBY), a community green project in Peterborough.

when one of their team became a veg box customer. After a while Sophie Antonelli, co-founder of the GBY asked if we could supply them with some fresh local produce. “Each Saturday we send a van load of lovely fresh produce to them for their box scheme, they add their own produce grown on the land at GBY. “GBY have limited resources but a huge following (no wonder with the brilliant work they do!) so we came up with the idea for GBY to promote fresh produce boxes and Parsnips and Pears to handle the sales, customer service and delivery. “GBY will still provide any produce grown on their site and as they need loads of customers to help towards raising the funds to keep the site, Parsnips and Pears give 10% to Green Backyard from every veg box order.” Visit the website www.parsnipsandpears.co.uk for more info and to order your box of deliciousness.

A TASTE OF FRANCE IN BOURNE AND GRANTHAM

On Friday October 16 a group of 14 traders will promote and sell French food, fashion and other lovely French things in Bourne outside the Corn Exchange and on Saturday October 17 they will head to Grantham’s popular market. Vintage music and family entertainment will welcome shoppers who’ll be able to sample some French style cuisine and snacks from 8am to 2pm on both days. It really does sound like a wonderful couple of days so do try and show your support and of course, bon appetite!

When you want something special for a gift or family occasion where better to head than a jeweller with real family values? Colin’s assisted by an experienced team who’ve worked in the jewellery trade for many years and have a friendly approach to find the perfect piece you’re looking for. Colin has been there 13 years and believes it’s the trust customers have in the business, their individuality and extensive knowledge that has seen them thrive as well as the quality they offer.

There aren’t many independent businesses around that have stood the test of time but Peterborough jewellers J.W. D’Arcy is one to be proud of. It’s still going strong since the 1920s – despite the rise of mass market products and shop chains dominating the high street. This family business was founded by Jack D’Arcy in 1924 and incredibly it’s still family owned. After his death three of his children continued running the shop. Later on his grandson Mark took responsibility before he retired last year. The business is still owned by two of Jack’s children, Margaret and Ray and is now managed by Colin Allen.

“We have many new handpicked items which will appeal to today’s audience,” says Colin, “especially when you’re looking for something special.” They sell a quality range of contemporary diamond jewellery and are the only local supplier of the floating diamond range. J.W. D’Arcy sell jewellery, watches, clocks, Christening gifts, both new and preowned items and with Christmas approaching there

Qualified jeweller Kim and shop manager Colin is plenty to choose from – you can even have items engraved for that personal touch. Colin says they provide a complete service at the shop not just retail – “A range of services we provide include repairs to jewellery including ring sizes, re-rhodium of white gold, rethreading pearls and beads, steam cleaning and jewellery polishing, watch repairs, batteries and strap fittings. For that special occasion we can create a bespoke piece by appointment with our goldsmith.” They also buy scrap gold and unwanted jewellery so you could make a few pounds to buy the rest of your Christmas gifts with! FOXES IS BACK WITH BETTER LOVE! Foxes is back with a storming new track this month the epic, heart-felt stomper Better Love out on October 16. The single comes from her album All I Need due out early next year and follows hot on the heels of her disco-tinged comeback track Body Talk and a hugely successful international campaign as the face of the latest H&M campaign. Her debut album Glorious made the top 5 with smash hits including Let Go For Tonight, Holding Onto Heaven and Youth. The Grammy-winning, singer songwriter Foxes, aka Louisa Rose Allen, has become one of the UK’s most exciting pop stars. Growing up in Southampton with her mum and older sister, Louisa always knew she wanted to perform. In fact, all of the family knew she wanted to perform because that's all she ever seemed to do. “I'd always be the kid at Christmas who would stand on the table and perform for my family. They all thought I was really annoying. I'd be singing The Little Mermaid and Celine Dion and they'd all be laughing at me.” She’s come a long way since then, but started out by gradually easing her way onto the London live scene. “I did a lot of open mic nights. Lots of playing to like two people that look like they want to cry,” she laughs. “It's been a journey.”

The

Foxes went from singing at open mic nights to performing rapturously received shows at SXSW and being name-checked as one to watch by global megastar, Katy Perry! If you’re still wondering where the name Foxes came from it was inspired by one of her very early songs and confirmed by her mum who had a slightly odd dream in which foxes were performing some of the most beautiful music she'd ever heard. For Foxes, music isn't just a hobby or a passing phase; it's something she's always wanted to do without really realising it. “I'm not desperate for the fame. I don't want that part, I just want to make music,” she states firmly. And there seems to be no stopping her. Foxes heads out on her UK tour this month starting on October 22 in Glasgow – tour tickets are available on ticketmaster should you wish to see the saucer-eyed one up close!

Movie Previews

SPECTRE Cast: Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz, Lea Seydoux, Dave Bautista Director: Sam Mendes

Fortunately with Mendes (after much persuasion) back behind the camera that could just happen – as James Bond gets a cryptic message from his past to send him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. This nicely ties into the ‘Mr White’ (Jesper Christensen) storyline that was prevalent in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace – as

the new M (Ralph Fiennes) battles political forces to keep the secret service alive – with SPECTRE receiving a re-birth after playing a major part in early Bond lore.

MACBETH

THE INTERN

One of Shakespeare’s most compelling characters gets the dramatic big screen treatment via X-Men’s Michael Fassbender. After Macbeth, a Duke of Scotland, receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that he’ll become king of his country, he gets consumed by ambition and spurred into action by his wife (Marion Cotillard).

A 70-year-old widower (Robert De Niro) seizes an opportunity to get back into the game after discovering retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be in this comedy from the director of What Women Want. But his surprising new career move sees him become a senior intern at an online fashion site run by Anne Hathaway’s Jules Ostin.

THE WALK

SICARIO

REGRESSION

Back to the Future and Forrest Gump director Robert Zemeckis utilises IMAX and Real 3D for intense death-defying moments in this biographical story of French high-wire artist Philippe Petit (Inception’s Joseph GordonLevitt). This chronicles his attempt to cross the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in 1974.

An idealistic FBI agent (Edge of Tomorrow’s Emily Blunt) is enlisted by a government task force to aid in the escalating war against drugs along the border between the USA and Mexico. Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin costar in this action-drama from the director of Prisoners, that’s already notching great early reviews.

Harry Potter starlet Emma Watson makes a rare headline movie appearance in this suspenseful Minnesota-set thriller as a young woman who accuses her father of an unspeakable crime. And when he unexpectedly admits guilt, a detective (Ethan Hawke) unmasks a horrifying nationwide mystery after investigating the case.

THE PROGRAM

CRIMSON PEAK

PAN

This drama tells the incredible story of one of the biggest deceptions in modern history – multiple Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong. When an Irish sports journalist (Chris O’Dowd) becomes convinced that the cyclist’s victories are fuelled by banned substances, he starts hunting for evidence that will expose him.

This fantasy horror from Pan’s Labyrinth director Guillermo Del Toro sees an aspiring author (Mia Wasikowska) tempted into marriage by a mysterious outsider (Tom Hiddleston). But after she ties the knot, she is swept away to a house – where her husband’s sister (Jessica Chastain) lives – that hauntingly comes alive.

Hugh Jackman stars as evil pirate Blackbeard in the latest Peter Pan-based movie to hit the big screen, as an orphan (Levi Miller) gets spirited away to the magical Neverland. There he ultimately discovers his destiny in this family adventure from the director of Atonement, co-starring Tron: Legacy’s Garrett Hedlund.

Steve Buscemi and Andy Samberg co-star in this follow-up to the profitable 2012 animation hit.

23 THE LAST WITCH HUNTER Vin Diesel tries to prove he can headline another franchise outside of Fast and Furious – after the third Riddick instalment flopped – as a hunter who’s the last line of defence between humanity and the combined forces of evil witches in this fantasy adventure. METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN (X1/PS4/360/PS3/PC)

Every few years a game comes along that really raises the bar – as iconic creator Hideo Kojima evolves the Metal Gear Solid series in breathtaking style. With this sandbox adventure he opens up this appealing world to newbies, while offering more than enough for MGS enthusiasts, with a deeply polished gameplay that redefines the stealth-action genre for a new generation.

#####

To put it simply this is tactical espionage at its best – where going in all guns blazing usually isn’t the best option – with this game truly making you think about every consequence, complete with gorgeous photo-realistic graphics.

22 Broadway, Peterborough, PE1 1RS

The story might not have quite the depth as previous entries – with the legendary mercenary Snake in 1984 Russian-controlled Afghanistan – but this fifth instalment has so much ingenuity one or two minor gripes are eradicated in a heartbeat. A true gaming masterpiece.

www.elesha.co.uk • email: elesha@btconnect.com

FORZA MOTORSPORT 6 (X1) It’s very easy to band about the term ‘the best racing game of all-time’ – but with this sixth instalment of Microsoft’s banner racing game it’s hard to argue against it. With more than 450 cars (including the debut of the Ford GT) across a plethora of world-famous racing locales – including Le Mans and Daytona – this is just about as good as it gets.

#####

It may have a couple of minor issues (like difficulty spikes), but with luscious visuals, real world physics that are second to none and an absolute abundance of options this is undoubtedly the best racing simulation out there. With so much to do – and exciting credits to earn – this ultimate package will give you hours of top-notch driving enjoyment.

GEARS OF WARS: ULTIMATE EDITION (X1) Marcus, Dom, Baird and ‘The Cole Train’ have stood the test of time – with this inaugural Gears of War outing ageing like a fine wine. Nine years ago (yep, that’s right) it was probably just about the prettiest game around when it debuted on the 360, and with five new chapters – never seen before on an Xbox platform – added to this remastered ultimate version, chain-sawing hordes of Locusts to death is still incredibly satisfying.

####

The gameplay does show one or two cracks, but taking out the Berzerker with Hammer of Dawn is still a slice of gaming genius that should get the COGs on your Xbox One into gear.

Dance with tiago!

ESP loves to support local talent and we also love a good success story so it made perfect sense to catch up with Tiago Varela, a street dancing legend in Peterborough, entrepreneur and founder of iDream Academy, an after-school dance class for budding dancers.

Photos: Emma Bothamley

Tiago’s passion for music and dance began at the tender age of 2 when he would play piano and he’d learned to do the moonwalk by the time he was 3 years old! It’s easy to see why he continued on this route and as an adult wants to inspire others into the world of dance. Tiago told me: “iDream is a passionate music and dance academy offering workshops, classes, and courses both physically and online in most styles of dance and all aspects of music. “Our After School Sessions programme is extremely popular as our young budding dancers learn

essential moves and build their routines to show off in an end of term show in which they will be awarded for their progress and even win prizes. “Despite its popularity dance is not strongly present in the current PE curriculum, therefore before GCSE's not many schools offer the opportunity to take part in dance. This is why we need the cooperation of all schools, their involvement will play a key role in the improvement of what Peterborough has to offer, and add more value to the education sector within the city.”

The future looks bright for Tiago who, not content with the success of iDream, is now looking to launch an interactive dance app and an interactive website which means dance enthusiasts can learn the moves tutored by industry experts (and even guest celebrities) when you’re on the move or in the comfort of your own home. There is an opportunity here for investors of all kinds to get involved as he’ll be selling company equity via a crowd funding platform.

Tiago Varela, founder of iDream Academy To talk to Tiago about iDream and his other projects you can call him on 01733 294520 or email info@idreamacademy.co.uk. Anna Ruggiero

American Beauty… I love my retro stuff as readers will know and I’m a fan of Americana so when I spotted this beauty at the Classic and Vintage Show on the Embankment I fell in love instantly! driving it it's like travelling back in time, it gives me a tremendous buzz. So would he ever be tempted to part with it?

However it was easy to see there would be no parting former local radio host (WGMS, Hereward FM, Lite FM) Peter Tibbs from his Pride and Joy.

He imported this gorgeous 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air from the States after being won over by her good looks of Dusk Pearl over Imperial Ivory. The V8 283 small block engine adds to what is probably the most famous of all the Tri Chevys. The ’57, dripping in chrome and sporting large tail fins is the Bel Air legend that akes us back to an age never to be seen again. www.espmag.co.uk

“I imported the car from Ilinois USA on August 19, 2014, just over a year ago. We named it Teddy the ‘57 Chevy. “Ever since I worked as a mobile DJ on USAF Alconbury back in the 70s, I used to see the great American muscle cars on base, but the ‘57 Chevy would always stand out for me.”

“Everything has got a price, except the wife,” he laughs, “but it would have to be a big price!” It was no surprise there was a constant gathering around Teddy the Chevy on the Embankment but Pete’s used to the car being the star.

It’s easy to see how this American beauty would win you over and Pete’s smitten.

“Every time I go out in it, I am asked, can I take a picture of your car, even on garage forecourts. When I go to car shows it’s not long before people are standing admiring and taking photographs.”

How much mpg, I don't want to know – it could spoil it for me! “It's a time machine, 60’s music on the radio and you can be wherever you want to be, however I travelled to Stamford one Saturday afternoon, as I started to

drive over the bridge, I was waiting behind a car when a lady asked me whether she could take a selfie of her and the car, I looked over my shoulders to see a whole line of people who wanted to do the same, it wasn't long before Stamford was grid locked. Sorry if you were in Stamford on that hot Saturday afternoon!” What’s your Pride and Joy? Keep your nominations coming on office@espmag.co.uk whatever it is, car, bike… tractor!

GREAT TURNOUT FOR CITY'S CLASSIC AND VINTAGE SHOW Leicester, Lincoln and Luton just to display their pride and joy.

The weather held out for another excellent Peterborough Classic and Vintage Vehicle Show that attracted more than 400 vehicles over a weekend on the Embankment. Most of these vehicles were cars and I'm surprised I wasn't kicked off site by organisers Paula Thacker and the city council for dribbling and drooling over many a car bonnet.

Of the hundreds of cars baring their shiny metal for me to salivate over, two in particular made me seriously think about trading my girlfriend in for them. A topless beauty that was a Fiat 124 Spider got my motor running and so did a peach of an early 1960s Cadillac DeVille. Both were rare and fabulous and I need them in my life!

The ULTIMATE Combat Gaming Experience Airsoft is a military simulation game similar to paintball. It costs a lot less to play, it hurts less and uses realistic looking replica weapons.

The show is back again next year and I'm told it'll be a few weeks earlier than its usual September billing, so watch this space for a diary date.

Two unique sites and different styles of gaming. Fight in and around buildings or in the woods and undergrowth. The games run with two teams, each are given objectives which they have to try and achieve.

Much like the inaugural show held last year this event again brought in an eclectic mix of some of the finest and rarest automobiles you're ever likely to see in our region. In fact, a good number of car and motorcycle owners had come from towns and cities including Bedford, Norwich,

BEING

As I write this, the signs of Christmas are already popping up all over the place. Sometimes you just want to put your finger on the marketing and media ‘stop’ button to allow yourself to take a breath from one season to another let alone jump from summer to winter.

I

’ve just returned from a 2 day visit to an island where my new retreats will be, it felt like time itself had stood still. When I flew home I felt I’d been away a week instead of 48 hours, fully recharged and ready to roll. I’d fallen into the open arms of Mother Nature as soon as I’d left the shores of the mainland, leaving time behind to pick up on my return. We can’t stop Christmas and those winter months coming but what we can do is slow down and embrace autumn as a time for inward reflection. It’s a time where nature begins its slow transition into winter, but not before we get time to naturally declutter our lives and let go of things that don’t serve us. Nature lets go so readily, the branch doesn’t hold on tight to its leaves in fear of not having them next year, it knows that it’s a cycle and letting go allows more growth when the time is right. According to the Chinese theory we’re made up of five elements – earth, fire, metal, water and wood and an imbalance in any of the elements creates disharmony in our physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Autumn is associated with the element of metal. Areas associated with the element metal and the autumn are – The organs – colon and lungs. The lungs are where we take in our breath of life and the colon is the elimination of our waste. The autumn is not only a time for letting go it’s a time for us to inhale fresh, crisp air so get out into nature (even sit in the garden) and start taking the healing breath. The colon is our great eliminator so when we hold on to waste physically, mentally and emotionally then our vitality is lowered as well as clogging and slowing our body. In naturopathic terms this has also been known as a great time for bowel cleansing. When we have lung or bowel issues it’s said that we have an imbalance in the metal elements. Anyone going through a period of grief or overwhelmed by sadness and sorrow affects the lungs so these emotions are also linked to this element. Anyone unable to express these emotions are said to have an imbalance of metal. Harvesting – reaping the fruits of our work from the spring and summer whilst preparing for the winter time ahead, it is about transitioning but remaining flexible and adaptable – when we’re holding on we are not flexible! Time of day for metal is early morning – peak function time for lungs are between 3am-5am and 5am-7am for the colon. They suggest that

38

www.espmag.co.uk

anyone with an imbalance in the metal element will find that any conditions may be exacerbated at these times. The fluid of metal is mucous – the sense organ of metal is the nose so not only the linings of the lungs but the mucous membranes of the nose are governed by this element. Coughing, drippy nose (post nasal drip), sinus blockages etc can show an imbalance and a sign the body is trying to eliminate waste. Our self worth – the metal element is also associated with our self worth, when we have an imbalance we seek outside of ourselves for a sense of worth often through material things but when we get them we find we’re still lacking as feelings of low self-worth are built from within. You may also be a person who seeks respect from outside instead of within. Questions such as, ‘who am I?’, ‘what is my life’s purpose?’ often come up at this time of year. Helping to find the balance in the metal element – Start to slow down and not push yourself, when you’re tired – sleep or rest when you can. Go to bed a little earlier, even just 1 hour can really help. Take one day of the week to lay in bed an extra hour or more if you can. Get out in nature every day and breathe in the fresh autumn air. Begin to let go of that which no longer serves you. Only when you let go can you make room for the new. Declutter your room, car, home,

cupboards. Remember to look within to the hurts/anger that you are carrying. Eat as much local seasonal food as you can. This time of year it’s pumpkin and squashes, celeriac root, kale, blackberries and much more. This article is written from the little I understand of the five elements which I covered in my early training as a nutritionist and naturopath but I don’t claim to be a practitioner of this fascinating healing modality, but it can guide you on where you may be blocked/imbalanced. Finding a practitioner of the five elements acupuncture would be an excellent way to help you further or seek out some books to get to know them a little better for your own guidance. SPARTANS, WHAT IS YOUR PROFESSION?!

AROO AROO AROO! These were the opening battle cries from a pumped up Spartan warrior standing over the mud-hungry crowd as we gathered at the start line about to take on the notorious Spartan Sprint around the obstacle laden grounds of Elton Hall.

O

bstacle course races aka ‘mud runs’ have fast become a more popular way to spend the weekend than going to the pub or watching TV and rarely does a week go past where you don’t see friends’ pictures online of their mud-caked grinning faces brandishing a big shiny medal to show off their glory. Reebok Spartan are among the biggest and arguably best of these boasting over 120 races across the world and luckily for us we just had one right here in our neighbourhood. Fancying my chances I entered into the ‘Elite’ wave going up against a line-up of fitness junkies with Adonis-like physiques who live for these races. As an endurance athlete I’m usually just getting warmed up 20 miles in so this short, fast 5k race was a different challenge for me. There’s a lot of bravado and theatrics with the Spartan races with many of the guys racing topless to get in full Spartan character. So I figured I’d go the whole hog and show some flesh blindly imagining I look as good as the retouched characters of the Spartan film ‘300’. As they say; ‘When in Rome’ (or in this case Elton just off the A605 on the edge of Peterborough).

40

www.espmag.co.uk

The course weaved around the grounds of Elton Hall utilising the natural obstacles such as streams, woodland, tunnels, hills and even the river. The Spartan additions included 8ft walls, barbed wire to crawl under and lots of lifting and carrying. We carried, logs, sand bags, buckets of gravel and even the notorious Atlas stones weighing around 35kg and 55kg. As if the course wasn’t hard enough there are penalties for failing an obstacle and these came in the form of 30 burpees for every failure. These were more upsetting than the course itself! Frustratingly whilst doing my full quota of 30 after my spear fell from the straw bale I threw it at (yes you get to throw spears at straw giants!), I noticed a few others do only 5-10 burpees before sneakily running off again. A little more policing required here please marshals! (not that I was bitter at all honest, grrrr). I finally leapt over the wall of fire and crossed the finish line around 47 minutes later earning myself a fairly respectable 56th place out of the 2,000+ that raced. Now came the fun part, I got to go round a second time with my good lady Sarah and my lad Ethan who at 14 years old was one of the youngest on the adult course. The course is built to challenge grown men and women so I was really proud to see Ethan not only complete the course

but also succeed where many others failed, climbing the 16 foot rope to ring the bell, hurling his spear into the gut of the big straw man, crossing the monkey bars, the dark water-filled tunnel and so much more. It was a fantastic experience to share and although she was too young for the adult course, my 12 year old daughter Oonagh-Mae was able to race the junior course set up for 8-13 year olds. We watched her go around, cheering her on all the way and she was great! We each received our medals and t-shirts to show off our Spartan victories as well as a much needed drink! This event catered for all, fast or slow, young and old. At the end there were several food and drink stands, photo opportunities and a chance to cheer on the next wave of Spartan hopefuls being egged on by the warrior shouting down at them. I look forward to the event hopefully returning next year and hear rumours that they may bring one of their larger courses. We raced the Sprint, but anyone wanting a bigger challenge can take on The Super or even The Beast if we’re lucky/stupid enough. www.spartanraceuk.uk Darren Grigas

THE PUNDERFUL WORLD OF DARREN WALSH of the Fringe award. Is it on pride of place in Darren's home? "It will be, but at the moment it's still in my bag as I haven't unpacked it yet!" he told me.

Photos: Emma Bothamley

The winning joke was just one of many Darren painstakingly wrote for his month long show at the Edinburgh Fringe entitled Punderbolt.

Hello, and welcome back to Mostly Funny where the big comedy news this month concerns comedian Darren Walsh. As some of you may know, Darren was born in Peterborough and went to school in the city before moving to London and he recently won the award for the funniest joke at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival – sponsored by TV channel Dave. He took the top prize for the joke: “I just deleted all the German names off my phone. It’s Hans-free.” Thankfully Darren hasn't deleted my name off his phone so when I rang him for a quick chat after the festival had finished he showed his quick-fire wit immediately. I asked him about the bizarre interview he did on Sky News about the award with Eamonn Holmes and Darren told me – "It was around 6am and he kept calling me Dave… I think he needs to make amends." Darren's joke was short listed by a panel of comedy critics and voted for by 2,000 members of the public who weren't told the identity of the comedians who'd told the jokes. Darren's took 23% of the vote, with Canadian comic Stewart Francis finishing runner-up with… "Kim Kardashian is saddled with a huge arse… but enough about Kanye West." So what of the actual Dave Joke

42

www.espmag.co.uk

"I've performed at the Edinburgh Fringe before, but this was my first full one hour show and I’m a fairly new act as I've only been doing stand up for 5 years. The press coverage I got meant that the show was sold out during the last week of Edinburgh and importantly people who hadn't heard of me before knew where to come if they liked a lot of one liners and short jokes."

Primary School in Eastfield! Dave's Joke of the Fringe is the second major comedy award Darren's won after taking the title at the 2013 UK pun championships held in Leicester. The final was hosted by Lee Nelson in a similar format to a rap battle with comedians given a subject to pun about going head to head with one another and the audience deciding the winner. To give you an idea of Darren's encyclopaedic knowledge of puns and one liners check out this clip of him in action earlier this year, www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kjuya Ld7xmI Darren is now planning a short run of London performances of Punderbolt but is hoping to bring it to Peterborough in the future as he still comes back to visit family and friends. "I was born in Peterborough, and lived in Sawtry and then Peterborough but I've never actually done a gig in Peterborough before so it'd be good to come back and do that. I'll have to look into it!"

ESP photographer Emma Bothamley was in the audience for one of his Edinburgh shows and has been raving about him ever since especially as Darren combines all types of wordplay jokes with some brilliant illustrations and visual effects. Not bad, for someone who learnt to read and write at St Thomas More

In the meantime Darren has put his prolific joke writing to good effect and has a book out at the moment. Cheep Laughs has 1,025 of his daft gags and well crafted one liners along with his own illustrations. It covers every subject under the sun and is selling out fast on Amazon so grab one while you can! www.amazon.co.uk/CheepLaughs-Darren-Walsh

With Halloween fast approaching, award winning comedian Darren Walsh has kindly given ESP a selection of his most spooktacular jokes. Mmwwhahaha! I won a pumpkin carving contest against a class of 8 year olds. It was a hollow victory. I couldn't decide what Halloween costume to wear, then I saw a sign that said 'Beware Wolf', so I did. How many times has Dracula wandered off by himself? I've lost Count. Lex Luther invited Superman on a night out for Halloween. He said "Do you want to go to the crypt tonight?" I went on a romantic package holiday with a group of over 50s vampires. It was the Twilight Saga. I've adopted the love child of a Werewolf and the Loch Ness Monster. Just raising a WereNess. Last Halloween, I went round to a retirement home and gave Gerry a treat. This year, I'm gonna show Gerry a trick. Halloween is like incest. You pump kin. I manage all Dracula's bookings. I work in a Count Management. This Italian Vampire told me he was immortal, but I'm a more tall.

THE POSH PAGE ESP’s columnist Phil Adlam brings us the exclusives on all things Peterborough United… It’s fair to say that the start to the 2015-2016 campaign on the pitch has been a difficult one and unfortunately its led to the departure of manager Dave Robertson. At the time of writing, it’s very hard to foresee the future, so writing this column has been a bit of a challenge and then I realised that the ABAX Stadium was the venue for a milestone, an achievement that the city of Peterborough should be proud of. The Free Kicks Foundation is a citybased charity whose aim is to provide football-related activities for ill, bereaved and disadvantaged children, to give them a day to remember with their favourite football club and last month they staged their 500th kick – a tremendous achievement and one that deserves plenty of praise. Working at Peterborough United, I’m well aware of the impact that this charity make on children’s lives. So much so that I abseiled down the South Stand dressed as Robin out of Batman and Robin to raise funds and trust me that is a sight that nobody wanted to see, not now, not ever. The charity is run on a voluntary basis by Steve Thorpe and Sam Downing. Steve’s main responsibility is fundraising as well as using his extensive media contacts to gain publicity. Sam is the Kick Coordinator, she liaises with clubs, hospitals and families to ensure that the children have a day to remember. I spoke with Steve in the dressing room (I know it seems a weird location, but go with it) and discussed the great work this charity does for children nationwide.

“When we first started, we never envisaged that we would reach 500 kicks, our plan back then was to maybe do five or six a season but we have reached 500 in less than eight years. “A lot of hard work has gone in, mainly by Sam it has to be said, because she organises that side of the charity. About 120 kicks have taken place at Peterborough United, but we have got good relationships with a lot of other clubs both in the Football League and in the Premier League and it is a very rewarding experience,” Steve told me. At Peterborough United, we’ve seen first-hand just what a massive impact the work that the Free Kicks Foundation has on children. The joy on their faces when they meet their heroes or when they walk onto the pitch for the first time is something that’s never ever forgotten. “Every time is a good feeling. You get the same reaction when they meet the players, it is a buzz, they are so happy and we feel immensely proud to have played a part in that. “Footballers get a bad reputation sometimes, but we have patrons who work closely with us and the

work that they do in either raising the profile of the charity or by making charitable donations themselves is something that is invaluable. Earlier in the year, Ryan Bennett paid the cost of the van at one of our charitable events and the players are always donating signed merchandise for us to auction and now we have the chairman, Darragh MacAnthony, as the patron of the charity too which is fantastic. “Darragh does so much with local charities, but he is always encouraging us and making donations to us so it was a perfect fit for us and we are delighted to be working with him. It is about raising the awareness of the Free Kicks Foundation moving forward.” Both Steve and Sam have full-time jobs, so making the Free Kicks Foundation what it is now has been a labour of love. “We both work during the day, but we love doing it. It doesn’t feel like extra work to us. We get other people come and help us, but because it is the two of us, we find it hard to allow others to get involved. “This is a football-based charity. We are comfortable where we are at the

minute. If someone were to come in and donate a large sum of money, then we would have to think about taking it to the next level and different sports, but we are unique because it is based just on football. We don’t just do the mascot opportunities though; we have purchased season tickets at different clubs so 23 different children in different areas get to see their favourite football club. “We have also put together the Free Kicks United team. This is very important because it is something different and a way of involving more children with disabilities and not only that but the children playing with other children with the same disability. The sessions are open to all ages and ability and will provide a safe and fun learning environment for all players taking part and will be run by qualified coaches.”

So if you are reading this article and agree with me that the work that the Free Kicks Foundation do for children across this city deserves your support, then there are many ways you can get involved. You can make a donation at www.freekicksfoundation.org or you can nominate a child through the website. For more info about the Free Kicks United sessions and the charity please email foundation@theposh.com.

A BeAutiful triBute Night Out

Photo: Mike Harris

Keith says... I spent a brilliant Friday night at the Peterborough Beer Festival. I wanted to see The Dizzy Miss Lizzys and was intrigued by the headline act, The Activators. Although they gave 100%, I didn’t feel that The Activators quite grabbed the atmosphere of the festival and judging by the gaps in the crowd, I think a lot of festival goers agreed with me. On the other hand, there was a huge audience for the Dizzy Miss Lizzys’ performance. Led by Gizz

Butt their set featured a great mix of crowd pleasers ranging from Sweet Child of Mine to Hotel California through to some Stones and Beatles’ classics. Gizz also treated The Festival to a rare play of the song that established him and The Prodigy, Firestarter, whilst they finished with plenty of crowd participation on Hey Jude. It was an exciting performance that left the crowd on a real high, and, I think maybe the organisers wishing that they’d reversed the billing of the two bands.

DeDiCAtiON tO Phil iS BACK The next Dedication 12 might is on the way. This is the annual evening which pays homage to rock legend Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy. Last year promoter, Terry Narraine, moved the event to The Peterborough Sports and Leisure Club, (The PSL Club) on Lincoln Road, New England, and the show is back there on Saturday October 17 this year. A confirmed four band line up again will see something different as the night opens with The Expletives, fresh from their successful Thursday night headline slot at this year's Peterborough Beer Festival. They’ll bring some no-nonsense commercial punk and new wave covers plus some Thin Lizzy covers in the style of Phil Lynott's collaboration with the Sex Pistols. Back by popular demand, are Third Stone From The Sun featuring the awesome guitar talent of young Charlie Scott on guitar playing Lizzy and classic rock covers. Top Peterborough covers band The Rocket Dogs (special guests) are playing their last gig before taking a nine month break from the local scene. Headline band this year are Lizzy on The Loose playing the classic Lizzy album Live and Dangerous in its entirety. Philomena Lynott, (Phil’s mother) is, once again special guest for the night, flying in specially from Dublin. She’ll be participating in the raffle which will feature memorabilia with the main raffle prize of a guitar signed by Philomena. Threre’s also an auction of a drum skin with a unique picture of Phil Lynott (courtesy of Drum Skin Graphics). Last year the evening raised over £1,000 for charity and they hope to exceed that this year. You can pay on the night of October 17 at Peterborough Sports and Leisure Club, but as ticket sales are going very well, you can reserve yours by phoning Terry Narraine on 07796 250071 or email terrynaraine@hotmail.co.uk

The good people of Peterborough can look forward to a sensational night of live music when two of the country’s top tribute bands play at Radius (above The Solstice) in Peterborough on Saturday November 7 as part of their UK tour. Topping the bill is Robbie Williams Banned, featuring Matt Byrne as 'Robbie' and bringing a live show bursting with energy that packs a real punch. Having recently performed at the local Thorney Charity Music Festival to rapturous applause, the band are back in the city for the first time in over 5 years and are excited at the prospect of an up-close-and-personal gig at one of the city's top entertainment hotspots. "It's been a full on year for us," said Matt – a regular on the tribute circuit throughout the UK and across the world, including Ibiza, Germany and the Caribbean. "It's great getting to do this for a living. I've been doing it for over a decade now and can honestly say I'm having a blast." As well as headlining stages on the Isle Of Wight and at Liverpool’s huge Mathew Street Festival, the band kicked off their summer tour playing at the Cambridge University Summer Ball, sharing the stage with The Feeling, Wretch 32 and DJ Fresh. Matt’s still buzzing from the whole experience.

"It was mad, when we got there the organisers hadn't given us the festival line-up, so when the music started I thought there was a Feeling tribute band playing, before I realised it was actually The Feeling, who absolutely smashed it before we went on. So no pressure then! Luckily we have some big tunes and the noise the crowd made singing along to Angels was just incredible." Those who’ve seen Robbie Williams Banned will know that their gigs are always full of crazy antics and audience participation, performing hits such as Angels, Millennium, Let Me Entertain You, She's The One, Feel and Rock DJ. RWB are supported on the night by The Beautiful South and Housemartins top tribute act, Paul Heaton Fan Club. Playing singalong ‘South’ classics such as Perfect 10, Rotterdam, A Little Time and Don’t Marry Her as well as The Housemartins’ Happy Hour, Build and Caravan Of Love, this looks to be a tribute night not to be missed! Tickets are just £10 and available by credit/debit card from The Solstice, or by phone on 01733 560231.

OPAQUE TAKE LIECHTENSTEIN Unique gifts and accessories for you and your loved ones 2 Crown Walk, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6BZ Tel: 01572 720227 | Email quirkybirdgifts@yahoo.co.uk

The country of Liechtenstein nestles between Austria and Switzerland one of the smallest countries in the world. It has a population of only 38,000, no army and 90 police. It is also the world’s largest producer of false teeth! All very interesting, but why am I including it in the music page of ESP Magazine? The answer is local band Opaque are aiming to become Liechtenstein’s favourite band. They’re visiting the country to coincide with the launch of their new album, A Little Belief on October 10. The band consist of Moony Opaque (vocals and acoustic rhythm guitar), Benny Turner (backing vocals, synth and electric guitar), James Butler (classical & flamenco guitar), Simon Piper (keyboard & piano), Rufus Corfield (bass) and Miles Buntenon (drums). I spoke to Moony and asked him why Liechtenstein? “We looked at who’s been viewing our web content and discovered a number of Liechtenstein nationals had taken an interest in us so we thought wouldn’t it be great to become popular in a whole country. Because of its size we have a better chance as neither the Rolling Stones or U2 plan concerts there!” How did they take to Opaque’s approaches? “They were very interested,” Moony explained, “and we’ve had contact with their Prime Minister’s office and have approached the Crown Prince. Their officials have been very cooperative and we are going on tour to the country in October where

For the very latest news and events

we plan to have a concert booked in the University students hall and at a mountain top restaurant. To promote ourselves across the country we are also going to busk in various towns. We’ve written a song called the Liechtensteiner Polka and are negotiating with a TV station to try to represent the country in The Eurovision Song Contest.”

espmag .co.uk

What about the album A Little Belief? “I definitely think it’s our best work to date and the contents are all selfpenned. We always try to entertain in our performances and this album is very carnavalesque and fun time.” So does this mean goodbye Peterborough I wondered, but Moony’s adamant they remain true to their home city – “No way! It’s our home town and we wouldn’t desert our roots. We love local audiences and Liechtenstein followers would have a long way to go to be compared with them. We are also filming a documentary called To Liechtenstein With Love to enter into their film festival and so everybody back home will be able to see our adventures. Then on October 17 we are holding the UK launch of the album at the Key Theatre, so we look forward to seeing friends of the band there.”
