2012 CHEIO DE NOVIDADES! Todo ano que se inicia vem com uma aura de mudanças, novas perspectivas, novos horizontes. E não poderia ser diferente com a nossa revista. Por isso iniciamos 2012 com um novo projeto gráfico, idealizado por Eduardo Inoue. Nossa capa também traz o vento da mudança. The stern deck, which has a fully-equipped mini-bar, is an inviting spot to relax in the shade of the large flybridge.

The bed is centrally positioned and has a drawer and a large trunk which is easily reached, due to a pneumatically driven mattress-lifting system. There are also two wardrobes in the cabin. Above the wide windows other useful spaces have been installed in shelves which are set into the decor.

ACCOMMODATION The Cabo 40 Flybridge cabin is spacious and has some unique characteristics, utilizing engineering resources in its construction process, such as molded components for the floors of the staterooms and heads. The step-down galley features upgraded standards of finishing and is well equipped with Corian countertops, a two-burner cooktop, microwave, sink and side-by-side refrigerator/ freezer and a good ‘pantry’.

A embarcação de 18 metros de comprimento possui um espaçoso flybridge e tem como principal destaque as amplas janelas com linhas curvas que contornam o deck superior tornando o perfil do barco único e imponente. O salão principal é grande e iluminado, permitindo a integração com a sala de jantar e a elegante área de comando no convés principal. The main salon is large and light and can be integrated with the dining room and the elegant helm on the main deck. The lower deck has three cabins: the master stateroom located midship has two large windows bringing the couple closer to the sea; the VIP cabin is in the bow and has a double bed and horizontal windows and the third cabin, in the center, has two single beds and plenty of storage space.

Jackson Pollock passou a infância e a adolescência na Califórnia e no Arizona e, aos 18 anos, foi para Nova Iorque estudar na Art Students League. De personalidade inconstante, já neste período, começa a demonstrar problemas com o álcool. Rompantes de fúria e comportamento autodestrutivo marcam a história de vida deste grande artista.

He was born on 25 January 1912 in the state of Wyoming. He was one of the most restless and controversial artists in the world and made his mark on the history of modern art. Jackson Pollock spent his childhood and teenage years in California and Arizona. At 18 he went to New York to study at the Art Students League. His personality was already inconsistent at this time and he started to show problems with alcohol. Outbreaks of fury and selfdestructive behavior mark the life history of this great artist.

However, Lee Krasner was the great watershed in Pollock’s life. As well as being his close companion, the abstract painter was also responsible for presenting the indomitable genius artist to important people in the art world. Through her, Pollock met Peggy Guggenheim, one of the most important collectors and art investors of the 20th century. In addition Krasner helped Pollock in the fight against alcoholism. They decided to move to a house on Long Island where the artist worked in a barn converted into a studio.

Another peculiar characteristic of this technique is that Pollock preferred to be part of the work and instead of using an easel he placed the canvas on the floor and walked on it, when creating his art. Além do treinamento, a equipe comercial teve a oportunidade de realizar teste de mar nas Sea Ray 450 Sundancer e 260 Sundeck, testando na prática alguns equipamentos e funcionalidades, como o sistema Zeus, o uso do joystick, o sistema Skyhook, a plataforma hidráulica da 450DA. Também tiveram oportunidade de fazer manobras ousadas na pequena 260 Sundeck, verificando a alta qualidade do casco. “Temos certeza que aqueles que participaram deste treinamento estão muito mais seguros do que antes para vender os barcos Sea Ray”, ressalta Cox.
