This league is intended for players with previous experience ranging from competitive to open calibre and offers high-level competition and fun. Teams play multiple matches per night and move up and down divisions based on weekly performance. Teams, small groups and individual registrations welcome. League championships will occur at the completion of the second session.

YEARS + Bronze Medallion
Bronze Medallion is the Lifesaving Society’s cornerstone program. Participants will learn the basics of water rescue, drowning recognition and prevention, and self-rescues for unexpected falls into moving water and making an emergency floatation device using a pair of pants.
To take this course, you should be able to perform basic front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke, as well as a 400m continuous swim.
Please note:100% attendance & participation is required.

The Lifesaving Society’s Bronze Cross begins the transition from lifesaving to lifeguarding and prepares candidates for responsibilities as Assistant Lifeguards. Candidates strengthen and expand their lifesaving skills and begin to apply the principles and techniques of active surveillance in aquatic facilities. Bronze Cross emphasizes the importance of teamwork and communication in preventing and responding to aquatic emergencies.
Please note:100% attendance & participation is required.
Pre-requisite: Bronze Medallion (does not need to be current) for advanced training in the Society’s National Lifeguard and leadership certification programs.
