I am in inspired architect who finished my part 2 Riba master in architecture from Liverpool John Moore’s university and recently my second masters in ma architecture from university of Liverpool to explore more theories in architecture and the best ways and tools to express it .and hopefully a fully accredited Riba architect once I do part 3. after working in Egypt for 3 years after graduating in 2015, I decided to purse the path of learning architecture and practising it globally as this gives more depth to my knowledge and help in enhancing the output quality.
i am a dreamer, a passionist when it comes to getting inspired about design .i see myself as a active person, learning always to be critical and creative and using critcism to push my boundaries when it comes to planning a space and trying to evolve my own visionary and always hungry to learn from others and see design from their respective point of view and learn from it. this made me love travelling and seeing different design techniques. blending the contemporary, modern and heritage cultural architecture and reading about it is a path i started and curious how it takes me!

HELIOPOLIS:
Human powered public places: Revisioning the Urban Space exploring architecture potential through sustainable public spaces and sustainable transportation
Heliopolis Architectural Style Across the suburb of Heliopolis, situated in the east side of Cairo, the building style used is referred to as Heliopolis style. Heliopolis style synthesizes different architectural elements, including Neomamluk, Italian, and Moorish.
The site ; highlighted in green as seen is usually not heavy with car traffic at all times of the day and pedestrianising it doesnt affect public transportation routes or traffic density on other nearby roads.
Cairo as a metropolitan city has a spanning history of different types of architecture that represent every time period.
But after 1900 the public space in Cairo specifically started to take some of the focus just like architecture and urban focality started to become a factor and merge it coheseivly with architecture .
The design of new places seemed to focuse on making it more walkable and livable. but after 1952 revlotution and the political change in egypt from a kingdom to a repbulic, and because of securtiy reasons, creating new public spaces were always a challenge in fear of people protests. still, familes would go out during special holiday days or during ramadhan ,eid ,christmas or easter holidays in existing gardens or spaces desgined before.
The grid is all the same in size , its 4.5 x 4.5 in size for the size it takes for a table with a 4 chair. the reason for this as one of the main reasons for the usage of the street already for people going to cafes and resturants and spending time. so most of the time theyre sitting. this explains also why the centre is the seating area.
The design language was inspired from the context lines. i used the street network as a grid from every angle to help create a unique design language that reflects upon the uniqness of heliopolis but with a contemperorary approach that reflects the soul of the space.
SITE LOCATION
An Enlarged scaled image of the plan showing the seating areas and the urban connection with the context.
Height space relation of the buildings in the contexxt surrounding the site with the seating areas and the sun shade.
Comparing the new design with the existing road condition we can note the difference in space quality being used as a public space for people replacing the cars. It feels more bigger and the wide space for the road a llows for multi layered activities taking place.
URBAN RELATIONSHIOPS CONTEXT
The main reason for this 2 big 3D sections to show the relation between the surrounding context and the pedestrian road and the relation with the urban mass and architecture.
The structure is the same as in the first bus stop but instead of wooden cladding i used here sandstone cladding for the wall and the floor. also green roof for helping keeping the temperature down. it also has passive cooling just like the above. the louvers inspired from its use can be opened and closed to see coming busses as there is no need for glass here, its all about balancing to gain maximum cool heat
Steel frame for structure, instead of concrete as it has less carbon footprint Though wood is expensive in Egypt especially for importing .ALso it helps in keeping the place cool all day thus not needing air condintion and with the passive air cooling it makes it sustainble.
Exploded axnometric of the pedesternised street and showing the bus stops as well and the relation they have. It also shows the urban furnture lighting, seatings and sun shades.

The wooden screen surrounding the bus stop A is inspired from the traditional wooden Mashribyas found in Old Cairo which as shown in the right how it was sustainbly very practicl. Designing it from a contemperory approach I took in account the treatments that can be applicable seen in the solid void approach with some allowing for air and others allowing for visibilatiy. The overhang surrounding them act ast as a whole sn shade from above.

Parametric Investigation of Brick Extrusion Patterns Using Thermal Simulation
Concept : Biomimicry - Inspiration from Nature.
One example that can be applied to self-shading brick simulation is studying the behavior of the exterior of Jackfruit. The spiky exterior of the jackfruit helps to protect the fruit from intense sunlight and regulate its internal temperature. This concept could be applied to self-shading brick design by using a textured spikey surface that reflects and diffuses sunlight, reducing the amount of heat absorbed by the brick.
In this course the aim was to use Rhino and Grasshoper and generate a code to build a brick wall and be placed with a robotic arm.
The main aim was to create a fully sustainble wall that reflects sunheat as much as possible and interlocked without mortar or cement.
As it was a group project of 4; I was resposnible for the concept and designand testing of the wall bricks no . the simulation framework was as follows:
-the inputs of the dimensions of the the brick and the orientation.
-Wall bond type and its parameters
-Material and its use
-Thermal properties
JACKFRUIT
Comparison between bricks we experminted with
After careful consideration and iterations, this final brick design has been chosen as it successfully achieves the desired balance between thermal radiation reduction, conceptual integrity, and aesthetic appeal

Housing Project Design MA Architecture :
The Housing project was about designing affordable housing in Liverpool for artists. In a considerable heavy urbanised area occupied by 5 storey buildings as its the city centre, my aim was to create a module that bends that dense vision. With creating a light material selection to oppose the granite and red bricks surrounding, white selection of paint and timber wood seemed as the appropriate harmony selection.
Concept inspiration
Inspired from the graffiti in the surrounding context i decided to build around it my interesting points of view and seeing as its a form of informal way of art expression I tried making it as part of my design and appear as one. Building on the fact that Art is for all people of cultures equally, something Liverpool is famous for.

PRAYING AREA FOR A ORPHANGE
CENTER FOR A CLIENT - UK
3D max 2021 + Vray 5 +Photoshop
Contemperory designed praying area in an orphanage center in Cairo. Because its in a building and space is limited with only one facade that can be used to have bigger openings, and as privacy was important for the praying area to create a place of soltitude. The idea was to make use of the bricks and create screens covering the windows. Using materials such wood for half of the walls to provide a warm vibe; the brick screens add what the wood cant and are more durable with rain and insulation with the glass and provide interesting patterns whent he sun rays penetrates it.
After several attempts the client decided to go with this brick. With dimensions are equal; it is mirrored from each side to create interesting patterns when suns comes through it. Also it is inspired from traditional mamluk patterns but the design here was placing opposite of each other in the stone.

With the site located in chester just next to chester racecourse, the theory i am trying to achieve is how to apply contextualism with using the edges of the site as a potential of connecting it with the surrounding context to emphasize the building as an icon of chester hertiage and culture.
The theory I am trying to achieve is how to apply contexualism with using the edges of the site as a potential of connecting it with surrounding context to emphasize the building function as an icon of Chester heritage and culture.
Inspired from the context lines and how the human circulation around the site helped in shaping the massing of the building , hence this layout seemed the more appropriated design .
Design Development
it is inspired from the human eye view relationship with the Grosvenor bridge from the Chester roman wall entrance to the town centre.

Year 1: Housing Project
‘‘Density, Type and Diversty”
The Courtyard house
Revit + Photoshop
The housing project site was in Birkenhead, Wirral and the aim was to create a multifunction building that not only includes different sizes of flats and apartments but also workshops and commericail spaces where the people accomodating the building can generate income from the same place they livein. It was targeted at low income families and the aim was to have a sustainable job can be flexible with other job they want to work in to increase their income.
A look on how using most of the space relates with architecture space and its effect on human interaction. How having a variety of users and functions in one building promote density, type and diversity problems.

PRODUCT DESIGN : BOOKMARK - 2022
CUSTOMISED TO BE USER FRIENDLY AND TO BE USED EASILY
From trials of different shapes of bookmarks, I always wondered why cant a bookmark have a really interesting design that can reflect a culture background be easy to hold and use everyday but also used as a keyring medal, a decor on the desk or a tea coaster? And at a simple price!
Thus on June 2022 I designed and laser cut these wooden MDF bookmarks and currently sell them. On its first day in an osmall pen market I was wondering how would people react to it and gladly sold most of what I had on that day!
FURNTURE DESIGN WORKSHOP - 2018
This workshop which i participated in was about recyclying and using old things to make useful things that can be used in household daily activities.
I kept saving my water bottles and any plastic bottles suitable to be used and made a comfortable mini-bof out of it. Also I used old textiles which was washed and cleaned to be covered .The colored cotton was grown indoors.

PAINTING - 2023
Painted by me this; blue hole abstract painting which I won 2nd place in LAF drawing competition across university of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores university. I asked people what does it remind them of and how does it make them feel; many answers were similar in terms of some people said it reminds them of the moon but I got some unique answers such as a blinds man eye and the reflection of the moon in a lake in the middle of the city.
Discovering the connections between people, art, architecture and me. What started As a painting for just my theses research, sparked a love for abstract art. This paintings was intended for my thesis research on how colours affect the wellbeing of humans. My choice is based on warm and cold colours those how people react to those two types of colours. But later on it turned as a hobby and love for abstract art!
AI Trials
Experementing with Ai and exploring art and architecture with it. I like to use inputs from my own work like my bookmard or aspects from my thesis such as my Part 2 Grad thesis and explore the best limits in a more evolved way and see how can I build on it .
Exploring current trends related to the architecural scene in Egypt : the image expresses how cutting trees, and building more roads iand more space for cars while replacing unique architectural and urban heritage will lead to one day maybe building on top of the Ancient Egypt heritage.
Exercising different Aspects of Art and history in Urban Design from a Parametric perspective: Here I asked the prompt what would a public seating would look like if its Inspired from Egyptian Mamluk Geometry?
From an Ai prespective; expermenting the Public building concept from my theseis in Part 2 how it would have been also looking like.
Pushing Ai to the extreme: Exprementing with the right prompt over several trials can bring out the best of the AI capibilities in Contemperory Interior Visualiazation with satisfactory results.
Illustration: Practising and trying to improve my illustration skills.

The shift changing shadows inner color saturation which change with the movment of the sun, taking the attention of children and adults whom are the prime users of the place. The openings are made in avisually interesting shapes to allow air and light circulation.
BLENDING SOME OF THE MAMLUK ARCHITEC -
TURE ELEMENTS LIKE THE USE OF MASHRIBYA OR SANDSTONE; WITH SLEEK LINES IN THE OUTLINE OF THE FACADES TO GIVE IT A FRESH CONTEMPORARY FINISH .
02 FACADE ELEMENTS
The horizontal and vertical elements between the facade shell and the main building provide visual aesthetics, structure support to the shell and even shade on some areas.
03 MAIN CUBE
It was carefully considered to place the building in the north of the facade shell and leave a 6 meter gap to allow for air ciruclation and ventilation and with the non bearing load shell facade so overall the building is protected from unwanted winds from the south and good daylight all time long to help reduce reliiance on electric power for electricity and be more sustainable.

Architecture Photography
Architectural elements from around the world
I ALWAYS HAD LOVE FOR PHOTOGRAPHY AND NOT JUST ELEMENTS THAT RELATE TO ARCHITECTURE BUT NATURE AS WELL AS UNEXPECTED URBAN INTERACTIONS OR UNIQUE INTERACTIONS.
BUT EVERY NOW AND THEN WHEN AN INTERESTING ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENT CAPTURES MY INTEREST SUCH AS DOORS, BALCONIES OR WINDOWS I CHOOSE AN ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENT.
IN THIS PICTURES I CHOOSE THE DOOR ELEMENT AS I NOTICED THROUGH MY ARCHITECTURE WALKS IN CAIRO IT HAS WOODEN DOORS DATING BACK TO THE 18TH CENTURY AND RESEMBLE DECORATION ELEMENTS SIMILAR TO OTHER DOORS I NOTICE WHENEVER I AM WALKING OR IN MY TRAVELS IN ROME,AEGENA,ATHENS AND VEINNA. IT SEEMED INTERESTING AS FOUR DIFFERENT COUNTRIES AND BACKGROUNDS HAVE SIMILAR DOOR DECORATION ELEMENTS SUCH AS ART DECO OR RENAISSANCE.

THE KHAN KHALELY Museum
Recreating the Khan Khalily Experience
The goal of the museum is to recreate the experience in Khan El Khalely using one of the 5 senses as a concept and way of design and inspiration, I choose sound as its a very main attraction of the place and you can never miss or forget the sounds there. The way people move around in the museum is controlled by the sounds they here from different sources. I choose columns to represent these sound attractors and they represent it by changing height and thickness and distance to express the change of sound in the galleries.
Concept
Curious through Movment as my concept wants the vistor when exploring the exhbition to have the same feeling when I visited Khan El Khalily .The turning paths every path has its distingusihed flavor or that thing that made it special. It allows the visitor to blend totally with the exhbition and feeling that he is there in khan khalily while theyre just in the airport. So I wanted to think by playing with the movment paths and create some sort of maze. Where in the end all vistors meet at the center or an all gathereing point.
“Moving through the maze” “Reconnoitering while stirring” “sound diversity experience”
There are five ways to enter the museum. They are individual and they are continuing. Each way or path concentrates on the one of the five senses found in khan el Khalili to tell it’s a story. My main sense I’m working on is the sound.
I wanted to interpret the sounds in each market in Khan EL Khalily markets and then translate the vibrations Into a 3d sculpted form in the ceilings, columns and floor to give the visitor not just the experience, but to enhance Him into the soul of the market, using the hidden speakers in the museum that replays the sounds of the sellers and buyers from the market.

using the local materials available only. So I suggested the use of sand filled bags for the walls and stones/rocks taken from the mountains to support the structure. Also, in the planning of the village, I suggested the use of a network of courtyards to link the village together for pedestrians to walk instead of using cars and make it a more connected sociable community
