2 For inspiration we looked at different window displays and how they could be used to set up a scene to not only engage the audience to stop and look, but also imagine themselves being in the environment created within the display. This layout also allows us to communicate a story which is built around products that could be purchased from John Lewis, giving the audience the implication that they, too, could live and tell the story.
3 “Something for those special moments this autumn” The concept behind our window display composition is the idea of creating and capturing special and unique personal moments, creating a relatable, sentimental, familiar and emotive display more meaningful to prospective shoppers. An individual polaroid “snapshot” memory for each of the 3 main John Lewis consumer departments – Fashion, home and electrical.
