UNIDOS: TOP CHEFS UNITE AT BOHO CLUB
Top Chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants in Málaga recently joined forces with Boho Club’s Diego del Río to delight over 100 guests with a 14-course meal (seven appetisers and seven mains). Participating Chefs included Benito Gómez of Bardal (**), Mario Cachinero of Skina (**), José Carlos García of José Carlos García Restaurante (*), Mauricio Giovanini of Messina (*), Diego Gallegos of Sollo (*), and Fernando Villasclaras of El Lago. Each Chef prepared two dishes that represented their talent to the full. The list of delicacies included rouge and silver label parfait, lobster and Payoyo cheese tartelette, ecological caviar from Riofrío with a tuber and herb crème, sea urchin mi-cuit and celery root water, and Aquanaria seabass with cauliflower couscous. The invitees were enthralled with the creative dishes, individually paired with wines, and enjoyed a live musical show. i www.bohoclub.com
CHEFS FOR CHILDREN AT THE HOTEL LOS MONTEROS
Some 33 Chefs from Michelin-starred establishments joined forces to take part in Chefs For Children – a fundraising gala dinner whose proceeds went to Fundación Juegaterapia (which aims to make the lives of children undergoing chemotherapy a little better through games and other fun activities). The Chefs taking part in the event included Elena Arzak, Ángel León, Quique Dacosta, Fina Puigdevall, Ramón Freixa, and Marbella’s own Diego del Río. i www.chefsforchildren.es
Alma Obregón is best known for her breakfast recipes and healthy desserts. A trained Cordon Bleu Pastry Chef, entrepreneur, and digital creator, she will soon be releasing a new book entitled Repostería Tradicional (Traditional

Lepanto recently organised its first global sherry tasting event via live streaming, hosted by Luis and Rocío Trillo (Master Distiller and Assistant Master Distiller, respectively). The experts shared their knowledge and experience with viewers, discussing the merits of Brandy Solera Gran Reserva – which is made exclusively in Jerez from an autochthonous grape called Palomino Fino, distilled in Charentais-style stills and aged in sherry casks. i www.gonzalezbyass.com
