NETFLIX SERIES TO BINGE ON
Who would have thought we would be in such great need of entertainment – and plenty of it – as we have during the past couple of months? Just in case you haven’t signed up to Netflix yet, these are just a few reasons why you might consider doing so. We present you with our recommended viewing list. We won’t include Sex Education because that series is so awesome, we assume you’ve already seen it!

THE STRANGER - (English)
Based on Harlan Coben’s best-selling novel, this series is an intricate mystery centred on a stranger who makes it her mission to go around town revealing its inhabitants’ juiciest secrets. Sometimes,
the Stranger blackmails people for cash; at other times, she lends a hand and seeks to cure injustice. One day, she approaches upstanding citizen Adam and tells him that his wife, Corinne, has faked a pregnancy.
When Adam confronts Corinne, she admits her lie, then disappears the next day. Adam embarks on a search for the Stranger, who is the key to the mystery that has uprooted his stable family life.
TIGER KING: MURDER, MAYHEM, AND MADNESS - (American)
Social media users know they cannot log onto their Twitter account these days without viewing dubious photos of Joe Exotic: the ‘star’ of the utterly bizarre docu-series, Tiger King. Joe, a tiger breeder and private zookeeper in Oklahoma, is easily one of the most eccentric characters you will come across.
This show centres on his extremely vicious relationship with his enemy, Carole Baskin, an animal rights activist and founder of Big Cat Rescue. Joe, currently behind bars, tried to have Carole assassinated and continually accused her of having murdered her husband and fed him to her big cats. Now here’s the rub: Carole is easily as ‘unique’ and fascinating as Joe himself!
OZARK SEASON 3 - (American)
American crime drama, Ozark, is back for its third season. The series follows a couple (Marty and Wendy, played by fabulous actors, Jason Bateman and Laura Linney) who are forced to relocate to the Ozarks after becoming embroiled in a money laundering scheme. In Season 3, we see Wendy take the reins as the manager of the riverboat casino. Marty has been struggling mentally since the death of Mason and wants to leave the country and start over in Australia. Wendy, however, is keen on capitalising on the contacts she made when helping the mafia open the casino and she isn’t ready to budge just yet.
ELITE SEASON 3 - (Spanish)
What seemed to be just another teen series has turned into a fantastic thriller focused on a group of highschool students at a posh Madrid school. Nothing is as it seems; beautiful, wealthy, and talented, the students nevertheless hide secrets related to murder, drugs, and deceit. In Season 3, the audience continues to chase justice for the death of young student, Marina, and faces another potential death.
SIGNAL - (South Korean)
If you love detective cases and time travel, then this is your perfect match. The 16-episode series follows a group of investigators who find an old walkie talkie belonging to a detective from 1986. They discover that through this device, they can actually communicate with the detective and solve cold cases that have been left on the backburner. Their actions have an irrevocable effect on the timeline, however, and they must find a way to save themselves from the serious consequences of their interference with supernatural powers.
