Early years The Aegean King (Theseus’ father) hid his sandals and his sword under a rock that Theseus not could move it until him grow up and became stronger. When Theseus was sixteen-years-old,Aethra (Theseus mother) revealed to him the secret of his parentage and Theseus took sandals and sword of his father and left for Athens to be recognised as the King's son.

Theseus and the Minotaur Arriving in Crete, the Princess Ariadne fell in love with him and proposed to Theseus to help him defeat his brother (the Minotaur) in exchange for taking in love with him back to Athens and made her his wife. Theseus agreed. Theseus and the Minotaur

Return trip Theseus decided to go to de Naxos Island.Then, he decided to continue the trip without Ariadne. Some say the abandonment was voluntarily, others say the abandonment was an order of the gods.

Athens When Theseus returned in Crete, the Aegean King saw the black sails. Theseus forgot to change them by white sails and, believing that his son had died, Aegean committed suicide by jumping off to the sea, which then received the name of Aegean Sea. After the death of his father he inherited the throne and years later married Freda, a sister of Ariadne

Theseus and the amazons Theseus kidnapped an Amazon called Hippolyta. the Amazons then attacked Athens for rescuing the abducted, but were defeated by the Athenians.Theseus was married with Hippolyta with whom he had a son named Hip贸lito.
