Dear foreign policy friends, The Estonian Atlantic Treaty Association is pleased to announce that the fourth annual NATO & EU Roundtable will take place from the 31st of March until the 2nd of April, 2016 in Tallinn at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in Saka Cliff Manor in Eastern Estonia. In 2016 the Roundtable will focus on three key issues: the upcoming Warsaw Summit; the new global strategy for the EU`s foreign and security policy; and the cooperation between NATO and the EU in tackling the challenges of hybrid warware. This year, the event will bring together around 100 young professionals and students who will have the possibility to discuss the security challenges related to the work of NATO and the EU. If the first day of the event will feature lectures from experts and decision-makers in the field, then the second and third day in Saka Cliff Hotel & Spa, Ida-Virumaa will see around 60 students themselves engaging in group discussions (i.e. NATO simulation) about the future well-being of the world. The aim of the event is therefore to increase the knowledge of young people in foreign and security policy as well as to discuss the working principles of NATO. We are looking forward to active participation of young professionals and students in the field of defense and security and international relations. Estonian Atlantic Treaty Association will cover accommodation expenses for the participants, transport between Tallinn-Saka Cliff Manor-Tallinn, as well as meals and materials during the event. A small contribution fee of â‚Ź30 is expected from each participant towards the organization of NATO & EU Roundtable. Please note that travel expenses to and from Estonia must be covered by each selected participant him/herself. In order to participate, please fill in the application here by the 20th of January 2016! If you have any further questions, please contact our office at tiina.uibo@eata.ee
Respectfully, Krista Mulenok Secretary General Estonian Atlantic Treaty Association
