SEVEN HIDDEN WONDERS OF INDONESIA

Think you know all about Indonesia’s wonders? Well here some you probably haven’t heard of before.

PULAU WEH The island is located in the westernmost part of the Indonesian archipelago, precisely in the Malaka Strait. Diving is one of the activities that can be done here. For those of you who want to dive, diving instructors are ready to take you and share dive sites like Rubiah Island Marine Park, a park rich in exotic fauna such as manta rays, sharks, whales, dolphins and turtles. In addition to the beach, you can also enjoy nautical tourism and a gorgeous waterfall in the forest.

TANJUNG KILUAN

Located in the village of Tanjung Kiluan, Negeri, Province of Lampung, the bay is famous for its crystal clear sea water and white sand along the pristine beaches. So unique, this bay is right at the strategically located at the path of dolphin migration. There are two types of dolphins often seen here, they call it “Mulut Botol” dolphins and “Paruh Panjang” dolphins. That said, the number of dolphins that cross the gulf is the largest in the world, making it even more special.

PULAU RIUNG This marine sanctuary is a cluster of 17 Riung islands composed of islands both large and small, sprinkled across Toro Padang in the west to the east of the island Pangsar. It is in Ngada, Flores, Nusa Tenggara Timur. Here, you can enjoy the white crystalline sand and unspoiled blue waters unseen anywhere else on the planet. Don’t miss out on the spectacular wildlife as well!

PULAU MISOOL

Misool Island is one of the four largest islands in the Raja Ampat Islands, West Papua Province. Directly adjacent to Seram Sea, it is also the in traffic lanes of big fish migration, including whales. Misool Island also has a diversity of cultures and customs of the local people, such as paintings on the walls of the local caves which makes Misool Island even more special.

PULAU SANGALAKI The island located in Derawan Islands, East Kalimantan is suitable for you who love to dive and enjoy the diversity of exotic flora and fauna. Manta rays, barracudas, stingrays, giant squid, and starfish are some of the beautiful creatures that you can find here. The island is also known as the island where turtles lay their eggs! Interestingly, electricity is always turned off at night by the authorities. This is because of how the people of the island want to maintain the fragile ecosystem.

PANTAI NGURFATUR The beach is located in Maluku Province and is one of the Kei Islands. The uniqueness of this beach is a 7-meter wide stretch of sand, in the middle of the sea that divides the beach into two parts. With its white sand and very clear blue water, this is definitely paradise on earth. On this beach, The leatherback turles are known as â&#x20AC;&#x153;tabobâ&#x20AC;? by the local community. This type of turtle is protected and has breeding grounds on the coast managed by WWF.

PULAU PEUCANG This island is in the area of Ujung Kulon National Park and is a world natural heritage site. Stretching at the western end of the island of Java, the island is known as an area rich with flora and fauna, especially underwater life. Beauty of nature enclaved by tropical rain forests are still unspoiled. Definitely a spot worthy of visiting.WW

Dokter Kecil is one of many innovations that STUNICA’s Community Outreach made as an effort to give back to the community, which is done by implementing useful knowledge about general health early to children so that they will have a better quality of life in the future. This year, Dokcil is held collaboratively with BEM FKUI and CIMSA-UI in SDN Pancoran Mas 1. Every Saturday, a team of dedicated people representing each organization take their turns in bringing different health related topic to the fourth and fifth graders. The three topics that STUNICA brought this year includes NAPZA, sex education, and first aid. Each session begins with a pre-test to evaluate their current knowledge of the topic, then, the students are divided into small groups with two facilitators that will assist them in exploring the topic through an interactive lecture. After the interactive lecture, the result of the learning process will be assessed in a fun way, for example, the students will be given a game or a case in which they will have to act in accordance to the trigger. This will not only evaluate their learning process, but it will also give them a chance to implement what they’ve just learned. Each sessions are filled with tremendous excitement from the students, their shouts and laughter seems to validate their delight in joining the activity. Dokter Kecil is designed in such a way to ensure that the seeds of knowledge are planted in them, and hopefully, the tree that it’ll become will bring fruits that benefit others around them too. First, one of the most memorable things for her as a medical student is that she able to meets friends which also become her support system other than her own family, despite all of the difficult times she face sin FK, she has a chance to meet friends that able to felt and accompany her through the hardships.

She also tells us about what she thinks about STUNICA. STUNICA for Nathasha is a family, where she feels comfortable being around them. Even though STUNICA is not her first priority, she still thinks that STUNICA is still able to help her to grow. She tells us also that there are lots of fun activities in STUNICA and it’s a good place to find friends, family, and place to grow. She also mentions that STUNICA right now, already become better than before, thanks to Mainboards especially Daniel & Ima who already manage to add new prokers, and everyone who already actively participating. Nathasha also share some tips and tricks for her success! Nathasha thinks that time management is very important, you also need to determine your priority, and be flexible when things don’t go like what you expected. The rest is that maybe related to luck and also she thinks everyone needs its own support system. Last but not least, she thinks that it’s important to know our limit! Therefore, we able to balance out between the things we want to do and our leisure / personal time!
