FINE ARTS n ART Emporia State’s Department of Art is one of approximately 250 art departments nationally accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. n The Department of Art offers
18 scholarships exclusively for outstanding incoming and continuing art students in addition to the university-wide scholarship program at Emporia State. n We offer a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) with studio concentrations in ceramics, engraving arts, glass, graphic design, painting, photography, printmaking, or sculpture. n We offer a Bachelor of Science in Art Education and a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Art Therapy. n You can also get a Bachelor of Science in Art if you are interested in combining two areas of interest to design a degree according to your personal goals. n FORENSIC SCIENCE The Master of Science in Forensic Science (M.S.F.S.) degree at Emporia State is the only one offered in the state of Kansas. Our criminalistics and molecular techniques laboratories are newly remodeled and have state-of-the-art equipment. n With a forensic science graduate
degree from Emporia State, you will be qualified to work as a scientist in national, state, or regional criminalistics laboratories or conventional analytical laboratories.
n The program is an
interdisciplinary degree offered through the Department of Biological Sciences and the Department of Physical Sciences.
