Online Schools’ Guide
Welcome
Due to the current situation, the College is unable to offer our full package of engagement activities face to face, but don’t worry, we can still provide you and your students with the support and information you are used to, just delivered in a slightly different way – helping students on the next steps of their journey into further education. We have put together a list of activities that your school can arrange through us. These are 100% safe for your students and take into account the advice issued by the Government and our local authorities. This guide will provide you with details of the services and activities that we can offer your school and students. Offering clear information and top tips for the months ahead, our activities will help students to tackle those all-important post-16 transition decisions. Got an idea or a bespoke requirement for your school? Talk to us, we are always developing our services and are keen to help. Our School Liaison Team is your first point of contact for any enquiries, questions or requests, you or your students may have. Working with secondary schools across the Tees Valley and the wider region, we can visit your school throughout the year – either in person or by arranging an online event via Microsoft Teams - to provide information and advice to pupils considering their next move in education or training. We also work in partnership with a number of agencies including pupil referral units, the local authority, social services and community-based groups to provide education, training, information and advice for all those preparing to move into post-16 learning. As always, we offer impartial advice as our aim is to help your students make the right choice for them.

Course Interviews
Due to the importance of students speaking to staff before they make a decision about their future we are still holding interviews for our applicants. We want to get to know your students and make sure they get the right course. Our interviews are now being held over the telephone by our friendly course tutors who can’t wait to speak to applicants. Pupils can also speak to one of our friendly and knowledgeable schools team if they aren’t sure which course they want. We can also help support students in the application process and answer any questions they may have.
