If you don’t have English and maths at GCSE grade 9-4, you will continue to work towards this as part of your main programme of study.

LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATE FOR IT USERS - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
1 YEAR
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
This course will teach you basic skills in computing and IT including hardware and software installation, website development, programming and solving technical IT problems. You will learn in our industry standard Digital Hub.
WHAT GRADES DO I NEED?
Three GCSEs grade 2 or above or an entry level qualification in a related course.
WHAT’S NEXT?
On completion of this course, you could progress on to one of our level 2 computing and IT courses.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?
On this course you will take part in practical sessions and group work where you develop your knowledge in areas like digital document production, project management and website design. You will be working out of our industry standard Digital Hub and completing work for real clients and charities.
HOW WILL I LEARN?
Three GCSEs grade 5 or above including English and maths.
WHAT’S NEXT?
On completion of this course you could progress on to our Level 3 Extended Diploma in IT course or you could look to secure an apprenticeship.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?
On this exciting new course you will learn developing IT skills such as cyber security, data analytics and project development, as well as hardware and software installation. You will gain strong industry experience by working with local businesses on technical IT issues and create solutions.

Three GCSEs grade 3 or above or a level 1 qualification in a related course.
WHAT’S NEXT?
On completion of this course you could progress on to our Level 3 Extended Diploma in IT course or you could look to secure an apprenticeship.
LEVEL 3 FOUNDATION AND EXTENDED DIPLOMA IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (SOFTWARE DEVELOPER)
2 YEARS
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
You will learn about how systems are analysed, created, developed and kept secure by using IT software and hardware. This course will also allow you to explore the different techniques used to produce analytical systems, web pages, with local businesses on IT projects to develop industry experience.
WHAT GRADES DO I NEED?
Four GCSEs grade 4 or above including English and maths or a level 2 qualification in a related course.
WHAT’S NEXT?
After completing this course you could look to secure a higher apprenticeship, progress into higher education to study a computing, IT or computer science related degree or enter employment.
