English and Maths

English and maths are key skills which are used every day. Here at Redcar & Cleveland College we understand the importance of these skills and how much employers value them within the workplace environment.

DID YOU KNOW? For students under the age of 19 it is a Government requirement that you keep working towards these core GCSEs if you haven’t already achieved a grade 9-4 in English and maths.

On enrolling at college, if you have not already achieved a grade 9-4, we will help you work towards these vital qualifications and develop your skills alongside your full-time course.

You will attend weekly sessions with a specialist English or maths tutor who will support you throughout the course.
