College Life
Our facilities at Stockton Riverside College have been designed with our students in mind. So, whatever you choose to study, you will be learning in an environment that’s built for your success.
A Great Place to Learn
Exciting news! We’ve recently completed a £2.5 million refurbishment to make our facilities better than ever before! Over the summer of 2023, we’ve upgraded multiple areas of the college including health and social care, early years, motor vehicle, and our hair and beauty salons. Our new state-of-the-art facilities offer a modern and comfortable environment for students to learn in. Not only has the refurbishment improved the physical infrastructure of the college, but it has also enhanced the quality of teaching and learning. Students can now enjoy a more engaging and immersive learning experience that is tailored to their individual needs.
Health and Social Care
The heath and social care wing has been expanded and equipped with updated medical equipment and our very own ambulance bay, hospital ward and elderly care zones!
Early Years
The early years and education department now has a dedicated practice suite with facilities to support your development in a real-life work environment! This exciting new area will have specialised early years resources and equipment to support your progress in practice. It also includes an assisting teaching area which mirrors a real-life classroom.
Motor Vehicle
Relocating to our second building, our fully operational motor vehicle workshop has also been upgraded with the latest tools and machinery. Our students get to learn their trade working on cars with some of the latest kit in vehicle technology. The workshop will have not one but two car lifts, dedicated bays, electric car rig and so much more!
Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy
Our hair and beauty salons have undergone a complete transformation to provide an exclusive commercial environment with a relaxing atmosphere for clients. Relocating to our main building along with their personal reception area, the salons are at the forefront of current trends in the industry and equipped with the latest equipment and technologies!
As one of our students, you’ll get the chance to work in these incredible commercial-grade salons on real clients! Providing everything from creative colouring and cutting, electrical body and facial massage, laser hair removal and various nail treatments including nail extensions. The public can book treatments at discounted rates, call 01642 865 559 for more information.
