EasySense Battery replacement instructions This pack contains a Lithium ion battery pack, a double sided adhesive pad, and 4 replacement feet. You will need to use a small cross-headed screwdriver.

 Q3, Q5, Q3+, Q5+, Qt Timer and Q Advanced users require the battery pack and adhesive pad.  Vu, Vu+ and V-Log users require just the battery pack  V-Hub users require the battery pack and 4 replacement feet.

Q3, Q5, Q3+, Q5+ and Qt users: To remove the existing battery pack: Remove the lid to the battery compartment by unscrewing the two screws and then lift up from the screw-hole side.

Lift the battery pack out of the compartment. You will see two wires that go from the battery pack to a connector. To disconnect, grip the wires at the connector end and pull out in a horizontal movement. Note: The battery pack may have been secured using a double sided pad, if so use a blunt tool to help lever the pack out.

To fit the new battery pack: There are mouldings inside the lid and in the battery compartment to hold the battery pack in place. The ridge/s on the lid press down onto the battery pack. The lid may either have one or two ridges. If the lid has two ridges it is important that the battery’s wires are positioned clear of the ridge close to the connector. Push the plug on the new battery pack into the connector in the battery compartment; the black wire will be on the left and red wire on the right. Position a double sided adhesive pad in the bottom of the battery compartment. Place the battery pack in its compartment. Position the wires so they form a U-shape on top of the battery e.g. so they will clear any second ridge on the lid.

Replace the battery compartment lid. Screw the lid back into place. Note: Do not force the lid shut. If the lid doesn’t sit comfortably in its slot then open, rearrange the wires and try again.

Connect the logger to its mains power supply and leave on charge for a minimum of 12 hours to condition the battery pack.
