Student-recorded read-alouds give students a fun way to practice reading fluency because they can record themselves reading aloud on topics they’re excited about. Students can practice reading aloud on their own if the teacher is occupied with other activities or when they want to practice reading at home. In addition, teachers can listen to the recordings as an easy way to gain deeper insights into their students’ reading progress.
