“Modern society has based itself on a notion of plenitude, and to me, all the issues that we’re involved in with climate change – all the practical things we know how to do – aren’t going to happen”
I used objects represent cars, electronic product and fast food to show the consumption in modern society and a melting polar bear to show the current issue casued by climate change which is the raising temperature. At the bottom left there are high radiation warning symbol and the storyboard is showing how the leafs are trying to cover on the warning signs but not working well.

“unless that moral mindset is reversed, and we are not only willing, but anxious to have less. mean, there is no way to say that you can deal with climate change and still do everything you want.�
As the warning signs filp to become leafs, it starts gorwing but blocked by whats surrounding it and those would be little objects representing consumption in modern society. The camera will zoom out and a bigger picture similar to traffic jam will be seen.

“To survive, we have to shrink how much we want. I’d like to see cars rationed.”
The ‘traffic jam’ siutation will become better and each group of objects will be easier to move while they are getting slimmer. A block of small steering wheel will show up and the number of it will be decreased to half as representing cars get rationed.

“Outrageous! Well, it’s not outrageous if the moral mindset is one that: “I need less.”
All the steering wheels suddently shrink to nothing saying this is not going to happen. It will all show up again and becoming more until full of the whole screen. It becomes less and a traffic light will be seen when the audio says ‘I need less’. I am trying to say we can only see what we should do and what we should not do until we reduce how much we want.

So I don’t think these practical policies are going to begin to bite until the moral climate is not of “we’re faced with a danger”, but “I will live a simpler life. I will live with less.”
Those steering wheels on the screen will mentain a very unstable form by shrinking and enhancing the scale of itself and at the end only two of those left and present a happy smily face consist of a plug and a chicken wings.
