I refer to our meeting of 23.12.2019 and subsequent telephonic conversation of 16.01.2020, wherein you had asked me to send a panel of 3 officers from which Inspector General of Police Sindh shall be appointed.

In this regard, after the approval of the Provincial Cabinet, letter No. SOIII(S&GAD)POL-6-29/2018/936 dated 20.01.2020 has been sent by Secretary Services, Government of Sindh to Secretary Establishment Division, Government of Pakistan (copy enclosed as Annexure-A). The letter is as per the procedure in vogue, the same manner in which the Governments of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had earlier written for change of their IGPs (copy enclosed as Annexures- B&C).

I request your direction to Establishment Division for placing services of one of the officers named in the letter as Inspector General of Police, Sindh as was done in the case of Punjab and KPK province recently.
