Control Room Health Dept Govt. of Balochistan operational 24/7 for any kind of information & coordination regarding COVID-19 activities in Balochistan 081-9202080 / 111-400-400. COVID-19 is spreading very fast in Balochsitan province. Today 72 positive cases have been reported which is highest numbers in a single day. The numbers of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Balochistan has risen to 853 with 72 new cases including overall 14 death (CFR 1.6). The active cases are 663 in province. Local transmission is increasing, out of 853, 82% (702) cases are
from Quetta (590), Chagai (14) Lorlai (06), Jaffarabad (21), Khuzdar (01) , Mastung (13), Kharan (02) Pishin (38), Killabdullah (07), Sibi (06) Ziarat (03) and Harnai (01). •
The total deaths are 14 in province due to Co-Morbidity with COVID-19. The primary reason of deaths are renal failure / other co-morbidities. The deaths are taken because secondary came COVID-19 positive. Death Category with positive COVID-19 03 Renal Failure 06 Hypertension/Diabetes 04 ARDS/COPD 01 Carcinoma
As per direction of Chief Minister Balochistan - to get idea about disease pattern and for future strategy random sampling has been started from 04 areas (Kuchlock, Shabaz town Jinnah town, Nosar and Kechi baig Ghous abad) of Quetta with four RRT team. Till today 500 samples have been taken, 31 results came positive, negative 159 and remaining in pending.
Surveillance / Rapid Response Team / PDSRU: On 27th April 2020, total 1716 Persons screened for COVID-19 and total 199 samples taken with following breakup: • • •
District RRT Quetta screened total 659 persons for COVID-19 and took 166 Lab samples. 1024 Persons screened for COVID-19 at District Lasbella. In response to the Total 42 COVID-19 positive cases total 274 persons are at Home Quarantined in District Pishin, D.RRT Pishin started the Contact tracing of these positive cases P.RRT team screened 33 suspected persons from 2 different areas of Satellite town and took 33 lab samples.
P. RRT analyzed the total COVID_19 Positive cars data with sub details of home isolated, Hospitalized and recovered persons data with following findings: Balochistan Total COVID-19 Positive Cases and Recovered Cases 900

P.RRT and operational Cell team conducted meeting with Secretary Health Department regarding revision of COVID_19 patients shifting and Hospital incident management committees TORs/SOPs. P.RRT team started detailed investigation of COVID_19 Positive case at district Panjgoor and facilitated DHMT regarding COVID_19 protocols and SOPs implementation. P.RRT and PDSRU officials conducted detailed Epidemiological investigation and contact tracing of COVID19 Positive cases of Satellite Town Quetta which initially linked to BaraKooh Islamabad. 03 ambulances with 06 staff for transfer of patients to isolation facilities. Progress:

Collected 43 samples of Corona suspects.

Helpline 1122 received 21 calls (screening request). Consultation given by Medical Officers and responded by MERC team.
