Designer Zara Shahjahan gets trolled for starting ‘elitist’ Twitter thread A few days ago, designer Zara Shahjahan began a Twitter thread called #LetsBeHonest. “You have to start your tweet with ‘let’s be honest.’ So #LetsBeHonest life in Pakistan is hard for the rich so imagine the poor,” she tweeted. The tweet did not sit well with netizens. One user wrote “That’s true, especially since the price of French cheese has skyrocketed”. “God you guys are savage! So embarrassed to be privileged! You guys are damn right that tweet was so “elite” she tweeted a few days after along with the hash tag “while sitting in my air conditioned room”.

Arif Hayat, the singing painter, releases new song Last year, a video of a painter singing went viral on social media. Artist Muhammad Arif Hayat’s voice impressed millions of Pakistanis within 11 minutes of the clip being released.

After Thoko Taali, Arif has now returned with a brand new single in a fresh new avatar, Ho Kar Khuda, being launched under UK based music company BIZZ Music. Talking to The Express Tribune, Arif expressed his disregard for the local music industry. “I am delighted to be doing another song with a foreign music banner. No one from the local music industry was signing me for work.”

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas tie the knot for the second time After a surprise Vegas wedding that took Hollywood by storm, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner aka Sansa Stark and singer Joe Jonas have said “I do” again — this time, in a bigger ceremony in France. The duo got married at the Château de Tourreau in Sarrians, France with a handful of friends and family, including Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra, and Maisie Williams. Sophie reportedly walked down the aisle in a custom Louis Vuitton gown. Meanwhile, Bollywood star and sister-inlaw Priyanka Chopra was seen wearing a pink Sabyasachi lace sari to the wedding ceremony.

I didn’t believe in marriage and all this nonsense: Sonam Kapoor In a recent interview Sonam Kapoor shared some interesting details about how she met her now husband, Anand Ahuja. “My friends were trying to set me up with Anand’s best friend” she said. Kapoor went on to say that her friends took her to meet “these two-three boys” whom she had no interest in meeting.

I was like, ‘I don’t want to date anybody. I don’t believe in marriage and all this nonsense,” Sonam reminisced. The star then revealed that Ahuja and her shared similar interests and that he reminded her too much of her brother which eventually lead to the one of the most famous nuptials of 2018.

Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan clash on Twitter yet again Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan are the talk of the town once again. Hrithik’s Super 30 was to release on July 26 but earlier this week it was announced Kangana’s Mental Hai Kya would also hit theatres on the same date. Roshan issued a statement saying he does not want his film to be desecrated by yet another media circus and that in order to save himself from personal trauma and toxic mental violence he would push the release date forward.

Ranaut issued a statement shortly after, revealing both production houses collectively decided to push Roshan’s release date and that’s she doesn’t understand the reason behind his sob story.

Ravina Tandon slams Zaira Wasim for quitting Bollywood in the name of Islam Following Secret Superstar actor Zaira Wasim’s announcement of exiting Bollywood because she was “silently and unconsciously transitioned out of Imaan”, Ravina Tandon took to Twitter to share her opinion on the matter. “It doesn’t matter if two film olds are ungrateful to the industry that has given them everything.

Just wish they would exit gracefully and keep their regressive views to themselves.

In a separate tweet she added, “Exit is your choice, by all means. Just do not demean it for everyone else.”
