New mural for Eumundi Known for years as a market area, The Pavilion Eumundi is being transformed into a creative community hub attracting a number of artsbased ventures. The driveway up to The Pavilion has a long grey wall on one side just screaming out for a mural! You will now find Heart Space Creative at the top of the drive which offers one and two week artists residencies, pop-up art exhibitions and creative workshops.
Current artist in residence Sarah Sulley is the first artist to create a mural on the bottom section of the wall. Many visitors to the Eumundi markets stopped to watch the progress of this talented mural artist as she brought her very colourful and creative vision to life. Painted on a day of extreme temperature our photo shows her work still needing some final touches. Sarah said her mural was designed to be “bright and energetic and reflect Eumundi as a community”.
