Christmas at Eumundi Markets

The Eumundi Twilight Markets are on 8 December and the Eumundi Foodie Night Markets on 22 December. Santa will visit both nights and on 23 December. There is a Christmas card workshop on 9 December, a lamp shade workshop on 13 December and a lantern workshop on 22 December. Peregian Beach Carols

2023 marks the 59th year of Peregian Beach Carols, making it the longest running carols on the Sunshine Coast. This year’s carols will take place from 3-8pm on 20 December at Peregian Park opposite the shops. Santa will make a special sky-diving appearance on the beach around 6pm, weather permitting. Enjoy artisan and food stalls, music from local bands, face painting and more. To support this community event the organisers request a $15 per family contribution or $5 for an individual which covers all entertainment. Movie on the Rooftop

The final Movie on the Rooftop at the Cooroy Library for 2023 will screen from 6.30-8.30pm on 16 December. Picking up on the festive season the movie will be The Polar Express. Bring a picnic, blanket and chair for a family-friendly outing under the stars. Admission by donation and no bookings required. Visit: libraryevents. noosa.qld.gov.au.

Noosa Carols on the River

The Churches of Noosa have combined to present Noosa Carols on the River on 17 December from 7-9pm at the River Stage in Lions Park. While the music kicks off at 7pm bring a picnic and set up beforehand. There will be food trucks and spectacular fireworks to finish off the night. This is a free event. The BreastScreen bus will be at Opal St, Cooroy until 19 December. Screening is free for those over 40yo and there is no need for a GP referral. One in seven Qld women is likely to develop breast cancer by the age of 85 so don’t skip a check-up. School holidays at Cooroy Library

Noosa Libraries is running a school holiday program during December and January. Dress in your favourite holiday outfit and join in Tinsel Tales storytelling at the Cooroy Library from 9.30-10.30am on 13 December. On 14 December learn how to make Christmas decorations from natural bush materials, suitable for all ages. From 10am-12pm on 19 December there is a mini film festival for under 10yo.
