WINDING AROUND QUEEN VICTORIA GARDEN M PAVILION Wanting to form a relationship with the landscape, the continuous spiraling motion of the
Möbius strip has inspired to attract and disperse the visual interest, sound and movement to engage audiences from various directions.
ATTRACT
DISPERSE
x = (cos(v)+u) × (cos(v/2)) × (cos(v)) y = (sin(v)+u) × (cos(v/2))×(sin(v)) z = (u) × (sin(v/2))
Parametric equation of the möbius strip has thus been utilised for form-finding.

The shared estate contains a wide range of mix uses; the pavilions are organised so that both public and private functions can occur simultaneously with out affecting the comfort or accessibility of the users in both scenarios. From the main street on the south of the estate to the North, the gradual change of public to private use can be seen from the section drawings.

Healing To-Gather Carlton Community health care centre In addition to addressing the health care needs,
the project places emphasis on education and prevention to ease the growing demand of the health facilities in the long term effect. The main strategy was to create a centre that is easily approachable and accessible to all demographics, including those of vulnerable sectors in the society. This focuses on providing space of gathering to initiate community while concurrently providing space of isolation that allow vulnerable people to comfortably participate.

1:20 SCALE CONSTRUCTION MODEL CASE-STUDY
Wide range of resources including architectural, engineering, shop drawing and construction photographs were carefully analysed to recreate a given section. The project has allowed me to understand how various range of building elements are constructed with careful planning in order to achieve the architectural intent, as well as thermal comfort, structural integrity and weather protection.

ISOLATION Bamboo Installation for The Living Pavilion Event Wanting to reconnect with the original land use of the area, the bamboo pavilion hopes to
foster a relationship between the existing and pre-existing environment. By eliminating the urban environment from sight, we draw their focus on what we usually fail to see. Through this we hope participants will acknowledge the imposing impact of human life on nature.
As part of The Living Pavilion event, the bamboo installation has been co-designed and constructed with another team member to explore Indigenous knowledge, ecological science, sustainable design and participatory arts as key disciplines. The installation follows the event’s key theme of making the invisible visible - by acknowledging the past and carrying the stories to the present and future. By isolating the audience from the urban environment and framing the nature, the pavilion provides an intimate space which the participant can reflect on what’s most important.

Through participation, the audiences discover significance of the Bouverie creek that was once a vital resource for the Wurundjeri people and the biodiversity, which has been hidden and ignored during the urban development by the European settlers. One by one, the blue strip is dressed onto the pavilion as the participants leave their response, imitating the flow of Bouverie creek that becoming visible. Meanwhile, bamboo is suggested as sustainable alternative as construction materials as well as exposing its calm and soothing properties.
