Probably the most famous of all the Paris landmarks. The Eiffel Tower majes6cally overlooks all of Paris. This visit can easily be combined with a cruise on the Seine as the star6ng point for Bateaux Parisians is at the foot of the Tower. There are 3 levels which can be accessed by foot or by liK .
If you wish to visit the Tower, 9ckets for stairs to the 2nd floor can be bought on the day. Please allow a minimum of 2 hours for your visit and longer if you are taking the liG to the top as there are likely to be long queues. Please visit their website for up to date public prices.

The museum features a World War One exhibit that is par6cularly moving and a recently added World War Two room. Les Catacombes de Paris www.catacombes.paris.fr Land was becoming increasingly scarce and cemeteries were becoming overcrowded so the government of the 6me made the decision to move the remains of the dead to the empty lime-stone quarries, freeing up the land for other use. The work was completed in 1860, by which 6me an es6mated five to six million skeletons had been relocated.
