Handball Cup

TORRELLANO is geared up ready to celebrate its 34th Handball Cup from July 12 until July 16 at the Isabel Fernandez Sports Centre.

More than 1,000 people from 112 teams representing countries such as Algeria, Bulgaria, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Spain, Israel, Portugal and Taiwan will participate in the international tournament.

Elche’s councillor for Sports, Jose Navarro, confirmed: “The Torrel ­ lano Cup is one of the most important and most relevant events at a national and international level.
