Freshers’ Edition of The Student (newspaper) The Student (www.studentnewspaper.org) is the independent tabloid newspaper on campus. The 24 page paper covers a wide range of news with a range of features and what’s on in Edinburgh. 6000 copies are distributed to over 40 locations on campus and in retail outlets throughout the city. Readership is approximately 20,000. A special Freshers’ issue of Student is distributed at the Clubs and Societies Fair in Freshers’ Week. Edinburgh University Freshers’ Fair - 14th Sept Sell your product direct at the lively and exciting atmosphere of the Freshers Fair held on Tuesday of Freshers’ Week (10am-4pm). Due to the high demand of this event early booking is advisable and payment is required in advance. You can’t distribute secondary advertising without agreement and the charge is £800 per item. We accept Charity and Healthcare stalls on Wednesday. Freshers’ Wallplanner An essential to every bedroom wall informing students of all up and coming Students events and campaigns for the term. Freshers’ Week Crew T Shirt During Freshers Week we the EUSA employ a team of 100 people to point students in the right direction. They attend all day and nightime events, run information during Freshers, distribute information throughout the University and generally make themselves available to new students throughout the week.
