PARTY AT SOBE Evite and partners swept the South Beach Food & Wine Festival with a Mardi Gras-themed celebration of all things party.
Evite made a splash at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival (SOBEWFF), capping off three days of amazing events with a Mardi Grasthemed booth where thousands of partygoers from across the country were exposed to all the new and exciting things Evite has to offer. From premium digital and printed invitations to party-planning content, the up-to-the-minute offerings that make Evite the leader in celebrations were introduced amid food, drinks, and fun at SOBEWFF. 1
AT YOUR FINGERTIPS The #EviteParty booth was situated on the sands of South Beach at the festival’s popular “Best of the Munchies” event. A graphic wall featured a row of iPads where partygoers could create Evite accounts and view a presentation introducing our new line of printed invitations (Evite Ink); premium correspondence cards (Evite Postmark); and party-planning content (Evite Gatherings).

SUMMER SIPPERS Before stepping into the booth, guests were offered hard lemonade by barmaids clad in Mardi Gras costumes from Costume Express. We were thrilled to partner with Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine to create a refreshing signature cocktail topped off with patterned straws in bright Evite green.
MOONSHINE LEMONADE • 1 part White Lightnin’ moonshine • 2 parts lemonade • Lemon wedges Mix moonshine and lemonade, and pour over ice. Garnish with lemon wedge and serve with a Southern accent. GET MORE OLE SMOKEY RECIPES4 3
FABULOUS FACES The booth also offered sophisticated face-painting for adults in keeping with our Mardi Gras theme. Party-goers lined up to have color, sparkle, and shimmer painted on their skin by Gisela Pons of Ella Makeup. The makeup artistry took only minutes to apply and demonstrated one of the hottest party trends Evite has predicted for 2014!

LOUNGING AROUND The spacious lounge area of the booth allowed visitors to relax and sip their cocktails amid plush branded pillows, colorful flower arrangements, and Mardi Gras-themed dĂŠcor. Strings of beads and masquerade masks from Costume Express did double duty as party props and take-away favors. Guests also enjoyed delicious lemon-lime moonshine cupcakes (opposite) courtesy of trendy Miami cupcakery and lounge, LA Sweets. In fact, owner and baker Letty Alvarez herself was on hand to introduce the custom cupcakes to partygoers.

LOOK WHO’S TALKING Throughout SOBEWFF, America’s Host, Liza Utter, served as Evite’s video correspondent, interviewing chefs, attendees, and the Evite team. Liza was also on hand at the Evite booth, engaging with the crowd and helping to introduce people to all of Evite’s latest and greatest offerings.

UP ALL NIGHT The fun went on long after dark, with the “Best of the Munchies” event crowd of 3,000+ fully taking advantage of all that Evite and our partners had to offer. Evite’s sweepstakes winner Brian Frisby wrapped up his free trip to all four days of SOBEWFF with a visit to the Evite booth, where he was introduced to the Evite team and congratulated by all.
