Which came first, the chicke The chicken; no! The egg...no! The chicken! and again; no. You’ve probably experienced a train of thought similar to this, and still did not manage to reach to your final destnation. The rails are circular, and as you probably know, circles have no ends. For the people who don’t believe in stories including a divine being throwing out perfectly formed animals, science has managed to get to the bottom of this seemingly insoluble dillema. Egg laying animals existed far before the chicken came about. While this is definitely true, we seek an answer to the more precise question: Which came first, the chicken or the chicken egg? And how can we define ‘chicken egg’?

The protein essential for the formulation of chicken eggs (OV-17), is only found in chicken ovaries. The egg shell cannot be created without that protein. But the consequently created egg,came from a chicken, and the chicken came from a previous egg. So the OV-17 bearing chicken, had to come from somewhere.

When genetic information found in the form in DNA is passed down, it is never completely accurate. Subsequently, the new organism does not share all of its traits with its parents. Although these changes are minor, over long periods of time, result in new species. But these genetic mutations must have occured in the initial cell zygote found in the egg. A creature, let’s call it Proto-ChickenTM, laid out an egg that led to the chicken, similar to what we know it as today. And in it was diffrent from its parents. Although it would take millennia for the diference to be noticed, that egg was different enough to become the official progenitor of a new species, now known as... you guessed it..the chicken!

When I first came to Kocani, I did not see much because it was middle of the night and everywhere was dark. Next morning, I wanted to have a city tour by walking but I didn’t realize anything again because I ever walked to out of the city. I found the center after a while. Firstly I noticed that everything was so familiar to me out of the alphabet. Build8 ings, streets looks quite like
Turkey. I know that Kocani is not a big city so I’m doing my assessment according to this. Cute and intimate place away from high-rise apartments and crowded city life. Nearly everybody have own garden at their home. But I need to say that there are so many houses need renovation. There are so many casinos, cafes and bars in Kocani and I think people likes playing games and have

fun here. I need to confess I liked it to. I think Kocani is a multicultural place. Muslims and Christians live together in peace. They respect each other. And foods ‌ I think this sector should develop. I liked kebab and chicken but I think it has to be more tasty. In general Kocani is not an expensive city. There is a rules at traffic I really like it very much and I can not get use yet that drivers give the
way to pedestrian . I went to Skopje too. There are so many different people and Skopje is very historcal city from that I could see. There are Macedonians, Turks, Albanians, Romans etc. All the foreign people who come to Skopje for travel would find a part of his/ her own culture. There are historical and huge buildings. Coco Chanel, byname of Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel (born August 19, 1883, Saumur, France—died January 10, 1971, Paris), is a French fashion designer who ruled over Parisian haute couture for almost 6 decades. Her elegantly casual designs inspired women of fashion to abandon the complicated, uncomfortable clothes—such as petticoats and corsets— that were prevalent in 19th-century dress. Among her now-classic innovations were the Chanel suit, the quilted purse, costume jewelry, and the “little black dress.” Chanel was born into poverty in the French countryside; her mother died, and her father abandoned her to an orphanage. After a brief stint as a shopgirl, Chanel worked for a few years as a café singer. She later became associated with a series of wealthy men and in 1913, with financial assistance from one of them, Arthur Capel, opened a tiny millinery shop in Deauville, France, where she also sold simple sportswear, such as jersey sweaters. Within five years her original use of jersey fabric to create a “poor girl” look had attracted the attention of influential wealthy women seeking relief from the prevalent corseted styles. Faithful to her maxim that “luxury must be comfortable, otherwise it is not luxury,” Chanel’s designs stressed simplicity and comfort and revolutionized the fashion industry. By the late 1920s the Chanel industries were reportedly worth millions and employed more than 2,000 people, not only in her couture house but also in a perfume

laboratory, a textile mill,and a jewelry workshop. The financial basis of this empire was Chanel No. 5, the phenomenally successful perfume she introduced in 1922 with the help of Ernst Beaux, one of the most-talented perfume creators in France. It is said that the perfume got its name from the series of scents that Beaux created for Chanel to sample—she chose the fifth, a combination of jasmine and several other floral scents that was more complex and mysterious than the single-scented perfumes then on the market. That Chanel was the first major fashion designer to introduce a perfume and that she replaced the typical perfume packaging with a simple and sleek bottle also added to the scent’s success. She partnered with businessmen Théophile Bader of the Galeries Lafayette department store and Pierre Wertheimer of the Bourjois cosmetics company, who both agreed to help her produce more of her fragrance and to market it in exchange for ashare of the profits. She only owed 10% of the profits, nevertheless made a lot of cash.

the moment you decide to be yourself! Chanel closed her couture house in 1939 with the outbreak of World War II. Her associations with a German diplomat during the Nazi occupation tainted her reputation, and she did not return to fashion until 1954. That year she introduced her highly copied suit design: a collarless, braid-trimmed cardigan jacket with a graceful skirt. She also introduced bell-bottomed pants and other innovations while always retaining a clean classic look. After her death in 1971, Chanel’s couture house was led by a series of different designers. This situation stabilized in 1983 when Karl Lagerfeld became chief designer. Chanel’s shrewd understanding of women’s fashion needs, her enterprising ambition, and the romantic aspects of her life—her rise from rags to riches and her sensational love affairs—continued to inspire numerous biographical books, films, and plays, including the 1970 Broadway musical Coco starring Katharine Hepburn.

Chinese astrology is based on the traditional astronomy and calendars. The development of Chinese astrology is tied to that of astronomy, which came to flourish during the Han Dynasty (2nd century BC to 2nd century AD). Chinese astrology has a close relation with Chinese philosophy (theory of the three harmony: heaven, earth, and water), and uses the principles of yin and yang and concepts that are not found in Western astrology. It is based on a twelve year cycle, each year in the cycle related to an animal sign. Each one has his own animal sign according to his year of the birth (calculated according to the Chinese lunar calendar). The order of the animals is most explained with a folk-tale about how the animals were summoned to heaven by the Jade Emperor who ruled the heavens of China. There are 12 signs because there are 12 full moons in a year! It’s BAD LUCK When Your Zodiac Year Comes Around! As the Chinese zodiac recurs every 12 years, your animal year will come around when you are 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, etc. According to ancient Chinese superstition, in your birth sign year, he will offend the God of Age, and will have bad luck during that year. The best way to avoid bad luck during this year is by wearing something red given by an12elder (relative), such as socks, a neck cord, underwear, a waistband, a bracelet, or an anklet.

Traditional American Recipe
Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients 1 h 24 servings 298 cals 1 cup butter, softened 1 cup white sugar 1 cup packed brown sugar 2 eggs
Directions
2 teaspoons vanilla extract 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 teaspoons hot water 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup chopped walnuts
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2 Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt. Stir in flour, chocolate chips, and nuts. Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans. 3 Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until 15 edges are nicely browned.

How to play?
Basic rules and scoring are similar to volleyball. Each team is allowed a maximum of three touches of the ball to get it back over the net to the other side without letting it touch the ground. The first team to score either 15 or 21 points, depending on the rules wins the set. The team that prevails in two sets wins the match. Play starts when the server is tossed the grapefruit-sized ball by a teammate while keeping one foot in a small ‘serving circle’. He then must kick the ball over the net with the other foot. After that, volleyball rules pretty much apply, except for the fact that the ball can’t be touched by the hands or arms. Top takraw players have to combine great foot-eye coordination with quickness, anticipation, power, flexibility, and acrobatic skills.

Çukurova’nın ürünü pamuğu simgeleyen “Altın Koza Film Festivali” ilk kez 1969 yılında ‘Altın Koza Film Şenliği’ adıyla Adana Belediyesi ve Adana Sinema Kulübü öncülüğünde gerçekleştirildi.] Türk Film Arşivi’nin katkılarını da yanına alan Altın Koza Film Festivali, o tarihten bu yana her yıl zenginleşen içeriği ile sadece Çukurova Bölgesi’nin değil, Türkiye’nin en önemli kültür– sanat etkinliklerinden biri oldu. Şenlik, ilk kez düzenlendiği 1969 yılından itibaren Türk sinemasına verdiği ödüllerle destek olmaya başladı. İlk yıl, Metin Erksan, Kuyu filmi ile En İyi Yönetmen ve En İyi Film dallarında Altın Koza’yı evine götürürken, Fatma Girik, Ezo Gelin ile En İyi Kadın Oyuncu, Yılmaz Güney, Seyyit Han ile En İyi Erkek Oyuncu ödüllerine sahip olan ilk Altın Koza’lı sanatçılar oldu.

18-19-20 Mayıs 2012 tarihli Adana Uluslararası Hava Oyunları Festivali, çok hafif motorlu hava araçları sınıfında Türkiye’de düzenlenen ilk festivaldir.

Uluslararası Engelli Gençlik Festivali, her yıl dünyanın çeşitli ülkelerinden gelen konuklarıyla, Adana’da düzenlenen ve renkli görüntülere sahne olan bir etkinliktir.
Portakal Çiçeği Karnavalı
11 Nisan 2014 -13 Nisan 2014 tarihleri arasında bu yıl 2. si olmak üzere her yıl kutlanmaya başlanmıştır. Dünyanın değişik ülkelerinden gelen misafirleri ile Adana’da çok renkli görüntüler sergilenmiş olup, Adana’nın tanıtımına çok büyük katkı sağlamıştır.
Raki Festivali: Her yil aralik ayinin basinda duzenlenen ucretiz yemek ve icki dahilinde muzik esliginde duzenlenen eglencedir.
