Sports Members are entitled to reserve tennis court times six days in advance of play. In addition, Sports Members shall be entitled to use the golf facilities up to six times during the season, from November 1st to April 30th each year, upon payment of greens fees and golf cart fees. Sports Members are also entitled to unlimited golf play during the off-season, upon payment of golf cart fees. Sports Members are entitled to reserve golf tee times seven days in advance of play. Member has unlimited use of the driving range and putting facility during off-season, May 1st through October 31st. THE COURSE & PRACTICE FACILITIES
The Seagate Country Club is a world-class golf and country club featuring one of the best championship golf courses in Palm Beach County.
The new championship 18-hole course is comprised of 300 acres with stocked bass ponds and natural wildlife nearby. The greens were replaced with TIF Eagle grass while the tree-lined fairways and tee boxes were replaced with Celebration Bermuda grass. There are a total of 91 bunkers with new G-Angle man-made sand and enhanced drainage. Improvements were made to select par-3 holes and yardage was added to several tees, bringing the course to 7103 yards.
The former Hamlet Country Club was acquired in 2012 by Seagate Hospitality Group, operators of The Seagate Hotel & Spa, The Seagate Beach Club, The Seagate Country Club, The Seagate Yacht Club, and The Seagate Residences. The newly restored golf course debuted on November 20, 2013. The 18-hole champion-style course was originally designed in 1973 by noted golf architect Joe Lee and was restored and refreshed by Gene Bates of Bates Golf Design Group with consultation from PGA Champions Tour golfer, Jeff Sluman. The new state-of-the-art practice facility features a fully outfitted driving range with Titleist ProV1 golf balls, putting green, short game pitching and bunker areas, as well as a staff of international and U.S. PGA professionals. The Seagate Country Club also features a full-service clubhouse, fitness center, Har-Tru tennis courts, casual and fine dining, and banquet space for special events of up to 600 guests for reception-style events.
The Seagate introduced new, high-tech Precedent i2 GPS golf carts from Club Car® that are equipped with Visage Mobile Golf Information System, enhancing the overall golfing experience. GOLF PROFESSIONALS The PGA professional teaching staff is led by PGA Director of Golf Darren Panks, an International PGA professional, who brings experience earned under the tutelage of renowned teaching professional Peter Cowan, Lindrick Golf Club, Nottinghamshire, England. Craig Harmon, a renowned PGA professional, is the Director of Golf Instruction and is available for private lessons to hotel guests, members, and public patrons. Formerly the head golf professional at Oak Hill Country Club, Harmon was the 51st recipient of PGA Golf Professional of the year. Additionally, Andy Anderson is a PGA professional who brings more than 20 years of experience as a head golf professional. PGA professional Whitney Young leads the women’s golf.
THE SEAGATE BEACH CLUB The Seagate Beach Club offers a fabled heritage of distinguished charm and history. Prices do not reflect 7% sales tax required by the State of Florida. Equity Bond and Renovation Charges are not subject to the 7% sales tax. The Property Owners’ Association requires a one-time Capital Infrastructure Fee of $5,000.00 plus $3,400.00 per year in addition to all Club fees. Spyglass Area-Lang Management fee of $2,960.00 is in addition to the Property Owners’ Association fees and all Club fees.
The initiation fee must be submitted with the membership application. A non-refundable $300.00 processing fee payable to Stonebridge Country Club must accompany the membership application. A copy of the seller/buyer contract, membership application, initiation fee and application fee must be received by the Club at least one month prior to closing. The initiation fee will be held in escrow until the date of closing. If closing does not take place this deposit shall be refunded in full. ALL MEMBERSHIP TRANSFERS MUST BE HANDLED THROUGH THE CLUB. Upon the ultimate sale of the Equity Bond by its owner, the Member will receive an amount equal to the designated value of the equity certificate at the time of sale, less a 20% transfer fee payable to Stonebridge Country Club, but limited to no more than $20,000.
