The Bunny Box is a tool suitable for learning and memorising vocabulary or foreign language revision sheets, formulas, etc.
Whether for children, students or adults, this revision system has been proved and approved... so easy it is child’s play.
Initially, it was the learning psychologist and science journalist Sebastian Leitner who introduced the concept in 1973. His method is based on dividing lessons into small blocks, each of which is repeated at regular intervals. This makes memorisation easier and more lasting.
This method implies that the sheets are prepared in advance and handwritten because writing and reading on paper facilitates learning.
How to Use:
1 - Write on the card what you need to remember. On the front and back, indicate the information (question/answer, task/solution...). Important: it is necessary to write your own revision cards for better memorisation.
2 – Then place the cards in the first space of the box, the side where the question is written must be facing towards the front.
3 - Take a card and read the question. If you can answer it place the card in the next compartment. If you do not have the correct answer, put the card back in the first space, but at the end of the pile.
4 - Continue this way, but only work on cards in compartments 2 to 5 when they are almost full. It is recommended to work each space daily.
