Our ivy-clad country house is filled with the warmth of crackling fireplaces and the sound of dazzling entertainment, and our sumptuous suites are given an extra festive touch (including a little gift for each of our guests straight from Saint Nicholas himself).
Incredible dining experiences await (you haven’t truly had a Brussels sprout until you’ve tried one of ours), with our chefs pulling out all the stops to give you a feast for the ages.
You’ll be treated to all the classics during your stay too, with plenty of opportunity for mulled wine, mince pies, and Champagne.
It wouldn’t be a stay at Pennyhill Park without tapping into your well-being. Our multi-award winning spa will be fully up and running if you fancy a quiet Christmas morning swim, or are looking to take part in the 5km Santa dash. There’s also our winter favourite... the indoor-to-outdoor hydrotherapy pool, meaning there’s no need to brave the winter chill for a dip outdoors under starry skies.
We pull out all the stops so no-one is left peeling the spuds or finding a way to fit the family round the table, letting everyone enjoy a well-deserved rest at this very special time of year.
‘Twas the night before Christmas
You’ll arrive on Christmas Eve when festivities will be in full swing. Enjoy a cup of hot mulled wine and home-baked treats while you check in. Unpack and explore your room at your leisure, where your very own Christmas tree will be waiting for you to decorate.
Once you’ve settled in, join us on the terrace for a festive feast. If you choose to head to midnight mass, we’ll help you get there – and welcome you back with a hot toddy and mince pie.
Christmas Eve
Tuesday 24th December
Arrival from midday
We’ll greet you with a warming glass of mulled wine and home-baked treats, before dropping off your luggage and making your way to the spa!
The spa will be open daily* with children’s splash time at 3pm to 5pm, so the little ones can enjoy some time in the indoor pool too.
A 60-minute treatment is included for every adult and can be booked on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or 27th December, so you can indulge in the best and feel your best.
Explore our Drawing Room, Games Room and Screening Room throughout your stay, where you’ll discover games and amusements for children and adults of all ages, and festive film fun showing Christmas family favourites, with heaps of popcorn too!

From 5.30pm
Join us on the terrace for the indoor and outdoor cosy festive feast, with food stalls such as hog roast rolls, bratwurst, woodfired flatbreads, raclette, crêpes and giant marshmallows for toasting around the firepit, and not to mention live music to keep the festive fun flowing with a swing.
Half a bottle of wine per person selected by our Sommelier will accompany your feast.
And for the children – don’t forget to stop by Reception to collect your carrots for the reindeers and mince pies and milk to place by the fire, ready for Santa’s arrival at Pennyhill Park after you’re tucked up and dreaming of Christmas magic.
For those who wish to attend, there are midnight services at our local churches. On your return we will serve hot toddies and mince pies before you tiptoe off to bed to dream of what Santa might bring you!
Top tip: Wrap up warm so you can visit the outdoor food stalls and toast marshmallows by the firepits.

The big day is here! Our elves have been busy prepping, sprucing, and perfecting to give you and your loved ones a truly magical Christmas experience, so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy.
Our Christmas lunch is a feast for the ages and there are plenty of different activities to help make this Christmas your best one yet.
From 7am—10am
Start the day with a Champagne, caviar and smoked salmon breakfast in Themis – lots to choose from but not too filling.
Morning
There’s plenty of time to relax with your family and friends until the main event… The spa will be open from 7am to 2pm, (children’s splash time 9am to 11am) for a workout before lunch or a more relaxing morning. Or join the fitness team at 8am for the Santa 5km dash. Santa hats are provided but further fancy dress is encouraged!

Join us in Hillfield Bar before the Christmas feast for Ridgeview English sparkling wine and tasty nibbles.
Christmas Day
Wednesday 25th December
Lunch
Five-course traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings with family style served vegetables and unlimited roasties!
Half a bottle of wine per person selected by our Sommelier will accompany your meal.
Afternoon
A chance for rest and relaxation – perhaps a stroll around the gardens, a sneaky snooze before watching the King’s Speech at 3pm, or head to Hillfield bar to enjoy the soothing sounds from our pianist.
7.30pm
A light buffet and a half bottle of wine per person selected by our Sommelier will be served in the Balmoral suite for Christmas evening – grab your tables as it’s followed by our quiz master for those looking to test their knowledge and have some fun.
Rum pum pum pum
Blow away the cobwebs with a relaxing experience in our award-winning spa or head into the fresh air to test your skills with a round of archery.
Lunch will be available for you to book in either Hillfield or Themis, but save plenty of room for a delectable dinner in the evening.
Boxing Day
Thursday 26th December
From 8am
Start the day with a full English breakfast served in Hillfield restaurant.
If you’re leaving us today then we would kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11am. You are welcome to stay with us a little longer and enjoy the spa until 2pm.
Morning
Make the most of a countryside Boxing Day and enjoy the great outdoors. Take a ride on the hotel bikes, pull on some wellies and explore our parkland and gardens, or whether you’re experienced or a beginner, our archery instructor will develop your skills in this ancient target sport – it doesn’t require strength, but rather style, technique and co-ordination, and most importantly it’s great fun for all!
Maybe cosying up indoors is more for you? Curl up on a sofa in front of the fire with a good book whilst sipping a cup of velvet chocolate, or enjoy a movie in the Screening Room.
The spa is open from 8am to 8pm, with children’s indoor pool splash time from 10am until noon. Hit the gym, feel recharged and invigorated, or maybe just lift your spirits rather than your heart rate and relax, restore and rejuvenate in our spa haven.
Lunch
£40 per person allowance to enjoy your choice of dishes from the spa’s Themis menu, our Hillfield Bar menu, or room service next to your Christmas tree.
From 6pm
Join us for a glass of Ridgeview English sparkling wine and canapés in Hillfield Bar.
From 7pm
Book your table and enjoy a three-course à la carte menu and Sommelier’s choice of a half bottle of wine per person in Hillfield restaurant.
9pm
After dinner, join us in the bar as our swinging Jazz Trio play into the night until 11pm.
