PORIR OLAFSSON
Pórir Ólafsson became a State Authorized Public Accountant in 1989. He has been the Chairman of the Institute of State Authorized Public Accountants in Iceland (FLE) between 2009 and 2011 and board member from 2007 to 2011. He joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in 1984, and became a partner in 1992, position he still holds today. He has worked in numerous confidential works at PwC for many years, including assurance leader and a board member of PwC Iceland. He has extensive experience in auditing and accounting and has led numerous assignments in Iceland. His previous assignments include financial institutions, insurance companies, industrial companies and pension funds.
