AHMAD-REZA YAVARI Ahmad-Reza Yavari earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Planning and Management from the Université de Grenoble in France in 1995. In addition Ahmad-Reza holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Environmental Planning and Management from the same university completed in 1992, a Diploma from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Science Economique et Social in Paris completed in 1979, and a bachelor of science degree in Plant Science completed at the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences from the University of California at Davis in the United States in 1977. He currently serves as the Chair of the Department, Environmental Planning and Management at the Faculty of Environment of the University of Teheran in Iran. From 2002 to 2010 he was the Senior Scientific advisor and Coordinator of Environmental Aspects, responsible for site selection, capability evaluation and suitability assessment for land use and development projects as well as their impact assessments, in Baft-e Shahr Consultant Engineers. From 1992 to 1994 he was project manager working in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture of Iran. From 1983 to 1990 he was Director of a large Agribusiness corporation, specialized in seed production in southwestern Iran. From 1980 to 1982 he was Director of a specialized farm for raising indigenous sheep and goat flocks in the whereabouts of Tehran in Iran.

AHMAD KALBASI Ahmad Kalbasi is a research scientist at Texas A&M University in the areas of Food Technology and Agricultural Engineering. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Industries from the University
