TAHER ALI Taher Ali is an instructor of Computer Science at the College of Arts and Sciences (Department of Computer Science) at Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST), and he is also assigned as an IT at the IT Department. After receiving his bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Kuwait University in 1997, Taher spent two years as a Scientific Assistant at the Techno-Economic Department in Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR). From 1999 to 2001 Taher worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, Kuwait University. Taher received his master's degree in Computer Science from Kuwait University in 2001. Starting 2001, he spent two years of his career as a System Analyst at the IT Department in the Ministry of Defence, Kuwait. From 2003 to 2006 he worked as an Instructor at the Department of Information Technology in the Arab Open University (AOU), Kuwait. In AOU, Taher spent two years as a full-time faculty member, then later served as an adjunct faculty member. In 2005 he worked as a Senior System Analyst at the Center of Information Systems, Kuwait University. Taher also worked as an adjunct faculty member at the College of Arts and Sciences (Division of Sciences and Engineering) at the American University of Kuwait (AUK) for three semesters (Fall 2006, Fall 2008, and Spring 2009). He was also an adjunct faculty member for a semester (Spring 2004) at Kuwait-Maastricht Business School (KMBS). He was on the Dean's List for three years (1995, 1996, and 1997) and was awarded a Certificate of Academic Distinction for four years (1994, 1995, 1996, and 1997) from the Faculty of Science, Kuwait University. In 2003, Taher was awarded a Certificate of Best Performance from the Ministry of Defence, Kuwait.
