PETER R. ADELBAI
Peter R. Adelbai is the Minister-Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Palau in Tokyo, Japan. He was born in 1959 and earned a bachelor of arts in Political Science from the University of Guam in 1983. Prior to his college education, Peter attended the George Washington Senior High School in Guam from 1977 to 1978, the United States, and the Palau High School in Koror, Republic of Palau from 1976 to 1977. Since 2002 he is the Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Palau in Tokyo, Japan. In 2002 he was Consul at the Consulate-Generate of the Republic of Palau in Hagatna, Guam, the United States. In 2001 he was Assistant to the Senate Committee on Tourism, Development and Cultural Affairs, of the Sixth Olbiil Era Kelulau, Republic of Palau. From 1998 to 1999 Peter was Assistant to the President of the Senate for Public Relations. From 1993 to 1996 he was Assistant to the Senate Judiciary and Governmental Affairs Committee. Peter was Executive Director of PRIDE of Micronesia in 1992, Journalist/Reporter for Guam Tribune Newspaper in 1992, and Teacher at Mt. Carmel Elementary School from 1986 to 1987. He received Diplomatic Training in Washington DC in 2001, the First Palau Land Court Mediators Training in 1999 and the Micronesian Diplomatic Training Program in 1996.
