DSE’s Recognized and Distinguished Faculty members have contributed to the advancement of professional education in the digital signage, digital out-of-home and interactive technology industries through their presentations at DSE events.

The Digital Signage Certified Expert program provides a full understanding of all the elements of digital signage and the interconnected technologies that produce the images seen on screen. Digital signage is the fastest growing segment of the commercial AV, content creation and advertising industries. It appears quite simple at first glance but becomes a tangled web of interconnected technologies acting together to produce the images we see on screen. The challenge is one of immersion and full understanding of all the elements of digital signage.

DSDE - Digital Signage Display Expert (DSDE) Program The Digital Signage Display Expert (DSDE) program is the industry’s only comprehensive training program designed exclusively for digital signage displays and calibration. The DSDE program addresses the subject of displays as a key component in a digital signage system and teaches how to properly calibrate them. The program recognizes that the displays are the “windows to the world” representing the digital signage message and that accuracy in transmitting images is directly related to impact and the effectiveness of the entire digital signage system

For DSE educators to qualify as Recognized or Distinguished Faculty, their presentations must meet the high standards set by DSE and its educational committees and the expectations of DSE attendees as evidenced by consistently high marks on speaker evaluations.

DCME - Digital Signage Content and Media Expert (DCME) Program One of the most important yet misunderstood of the 7 Key Elements of Digital Signage/Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) that go into every project and network is content. The Digital Signage Experts Group (DSEG) has therefore created the Digital Signage Content and Media Expert (DCME) certification, which is designed to lift the level of understanding of content and media far beyond the obvious limitations of “”conventional wisdom”” and provide the details and in-depth understanding of the major parameters affecting this critical area.

Taking place the day before the show opens, the DSE New Attendee Bootcamp will walk rookies through the various educational opportunities available at DSE as well as how to best navigate the show floor and talk to vendors in order to make the most of their experience.

DSE’s 12th Annual Digital Signage Guided Installation tour will provide customer-facing views and behind-the-scenes insights of some of the best digital signage installations in Las Vegas. While the most conspicuous manifestations of digital signage in the city are the bright lights along the famous Las Vegas Boulevard “Strip,” the 2017 edition of the escorted six-hour pre-show coach tour is distinguished by the variety of installations, both on and off the Strip. Spokespeople representing the venues and the technology will be on hand to answer questions and speak to the challenges they faced in concept, design and implementation, as well as provide insights into their solutions and results. While the most conspicuous manifestations of digital signage in the city are the bright lights along the famous Las Vegas Boulevard “Strip,” the 2017 edition of the escorted six-hour pre-show coach tour is distinguished by the variety of installations, both on and off the Strip.
