FINGAL COUNTY COUNCIL EXPENDITURE FOR 2014 In 2014 Fingal County Council will be spending over €215m of our money. The key spend categories are highlighted in this graphic. With this money, Fingal is tasked with advancing the economic, social and cultural development of our communities while providing for a better quality of life for its current and future citizens. Now more than ever we need councillors who know how to manage significant budgets, who have strong cross functional business leadership experience, who are delivery focused and who can make sure that your money will be well spent in your interest and in your locality. I have that experience and in May I will be seeking your support to ensure that this experience is brought to Fingal County Council.

Commercial rates and Property Taxes will form the bulk of income for Fingal County Council in the future. From 2015, your councillors will have the ability to increase or decrease the Property Tax rate by 15%. Fingal officials will need to be held to account on all expenditure to ensure financial waste is eliminated, allowing a reduction in property taxes and commercial rates. I have a proven track record of delivering efficiencies while improving services. I believe the same can be done in Fingal County Council and reduce the dependency on both Commercial and Property Taxes.
