Proposed Closure of Porterstown Level Crossing and Development of a Pedestrian Bridge November 2013. Dear Resident, I am writing to inform you of notifications published by Fingal County Council of proposed works on the Porterstown road. Fingal have issued a Notice of Intention to Extinguish the Public Right of Way over part of the Porterstown Road. A notice has also been issued for the development of a Pedestrian Bridge over the existing Dublin - Maynooth railway line. The proposed changes are in preparation for future development of the rail network. This proposal for the removal of the right of way access consists of blocking the road on both sides of the railway line to traffic. The second proposal is for the development of a pedestrian bridge over the rail line. Fingal County Council is required to display these notifications on their website however due to a recent upgrade of their website, these are not currently accessible. In the absence of Fingal making these available on-line to the public I have attached a map of proposed changes to the back of this letter. Plans and particulars are available for inspection until December 13th at the Fingal Office, Civic Offices, Grove Road, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, from Monday-Friday 9:30am to 4:30pm.

Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed development dealing with proper planning and sustainable development of the area, may be made in writing to the: Senior Executive Officer, Planning and Strategic Infrastructure Department, County Hall, Main Street, Swords, Co. Dublin or by e-mail to devplan@fingalcoco.ie to arrive no later than 5.00 pm on Monday 6th January 2014. If I can be of any further assistance please feel free to contact me at any stage and I look forward to meeting with as many of you as possible between now and May of next year as I progress with my Campaign for the 2014 Local Elections. Yours Sincerely
